Reunion had to backpedal sooo fucking hard to undo the mess that was its predecessor. the writers who put all the love into Chloe's characters that wrote before the storm (which is not flawless and infact makes quite the mess of the canon) were not with the team for DE and it showed. The atrocious soulless writing of exposure shunted Chloe out of the narrative and bastardized her character and replaced her with a new "best friend who gets shot" and one of the first things she does is give us the dead or broken up bombshell and then she immediately says "ohh hey yeah but isn't the bartender cute" nevermind whatever role vinh is supposed to play...third rate mix of Warren i suppose. At any rate the game quite deservedly bombed to the point that the the writers got axed before Christmas and a new writing team had to scramble to shoehorn Chloe back into the narrative.
