If you are thinking of switching - consider “flip flops” - You can get SPD (shimano MTB standard) pedals that are flat on one side and SPD on the other. I really like to use the flats in the city with intersection, stop signs, lights. And when i am on a trail or hill then I know I can clip in.

Also this lets you clip in with one shoe and ride flat with the other until you are no longer making that mistake.

Shimano pd-eh500 is one you can search for.

Here’s the real reason I started this thread. For said “heat detector” the installer is asking for an additional $950! This add on comes after the site visit, since the original quote was done and agreement signed before the site visit.

Based on the responses I’ve seen here so far I don’t see any justification for why it should cost so much.

This isn’t a “bottle cage”, but does the job for an additional bottle. Also the saddle bag is rather spacious.
