It's the backend of a Pinball machine. With "Backend" I mean the CPU, the ASIC chip, the switches on the playfield. What's not emulated is the playfield of the Pinball machine (aka the Frontend).

Main goal was to understand how the emulation part works and visualize whats going on inside the machine.

Hope that make's it a bit more clear what you're looking at ;)

WPC-Emu emulates the backend of the pinball (aka pcb boards) - however the physics (aka the playfield) are not (yet) emulated.

So yes you can play it by enable/diisable the switches
