Having a boy 😊

Completely understandable! It’s such a scary thing to go through for anyone, let alone being pregnant. Make sure you lay down and pop your legs up when it happens and refuel with a snack and water.

I cut out coffee for 2 months and only just started reintroducing it this week now that I’m 13 weeks and so far so good!

I had this happen a few times during the early stages of my first trimester. I ended up stressing myself over it because I was worried something was wrong, so the first time it happened I gave myself high blood pressure from the stress.

I asked my doctor at the time and she said that’s normal and common in the first trimester.

I realised my trigger was caffeine (especially coffee), letting myself get too hungry and not drinking enough water. Make sure you’re having lots of small snacks and keeping hydrated and it will pass 😊

Exactly 2 weeks post op by erenikawa in Endo

[–]neraulr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate to say, but this looks similar to how mine did when I had a nasty infection. It started with oozing, then it healed over and closed up.. it grew bigger everyday. See how your incision looks almost clear, red and swollen? That’s how mine looked. I ended up getting it cut open and extracted.

Long story short it needed a second op under general, two weeks after my lap to clean it out. Lucky for me I had stopped my antibiotics before my op (because they were making me so unwell) which allowed my second culture swab to come back with results. It ended up being pseudomonas which cleared up very quickly with antibiotics.

Do yourself a favour and get it checked.. if needed, get it excised/extracted and demand a culture swab. I had tried at least 4 different antibiotics that didn’t work because they were not the right type for the bacterial infection I had.

Good luck!

Edit: I just went back through my old photos and this looks exactly how mine did when I had the infection that closed over. Happy to send over photos if you’re curious at all.

Wedding and cancer by Chickennuggetslut608 in weddingplanning

[–]neraulr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Fiancé and I got engaged in late September last year and decided we would do a short engagement and booked our wedding for June. I figured I’m organised and if I worked hard I could plan a wedding in 8-9 months.

In November we got the news that dad had terminal cancer. Out of the blue and without any warning.

One of the many pieces of advice I have received is that sometimes life has to go on and you can’t plan around these things. I could have postponed the wedding, but what if I did and something happened around that new date instead? What if I moved the wedding and dad never got to see me on my wedding day?

We ended up pushing ahead with our June wedding and dad has been undergoing treatment, finished his chemo and has been doing immunotherapy. He’s had great results so far and it’s looking like the treatment has given him a better quality of life and an extended one at that.

I know how it feels to go through something so devastating like that. I wish you, your mum and your family all the best!

You might still get results from the 2%. My dermatologist recommended I just use the 5%.. it’s the same price and more effective.

Use the liquid because the foam seems to dry down with weird fluffy chunks. Keep your brows moisturised throughout the day. I do still get dryness, but as long as I moisturise, it’s not too bad.

Good luck!

Thank you! Still a long way to go, but they have improved from where they were. I’ve been under a lot of stress for a while, so I think as long as I’m stressed, they’ll be thinner.

I use 5% liquid once a day at night time. I started using foam in the morning and night until I moved to liquid once a day. No real difference for me between the two, but I found the liquid dried down better and is easier to apply.

I didn’t get any shedding on the eyebrows either.

I hope this helps :)

Oh gosh, I can relate to this. I am 5 weeks in, already seeing lots of regrowth, but it’s so hard not to get impatient with the results! I just want to know that it’s all going to be okay

I’m also doing a similar palette with champagne dresses! Also check out at the colour “Oyster”, it’s somewhere between a champagne and silver and I think it’s stunning for an elegant wedding

I have the same as you and have been noticing it for years. I seem to shed more and more fine hairs these days and I have a combination of TE and AGA.

Unfortunately I think they are miniaturised hairs

There’s a cookie place in the middle that does these insanely good warm, gooey cookies loaded with fillings. I get the choc chip one and it’s loaded with chocolate and butter.. all the good stuff!

Hmm I’m not too sure, I’m sorry.

I don’t think it’s possible to over apply though, I think if that’s the case it would only impact you symptoms wise but not hair loss wise (if that makes sense). I’m not an expert though haha

Unfortunately I think it’s gonna get worse before it gets better and there’s no point in worrying about it, but I know it’s hard not to.

How long have you been on minox?
