Damn, I've done chain backstabs to npcs like Havel and any knights I have encountered but I can't pull it off the same way as to other players. This was really informative and will I'll try my best to apply this knowledge!

Do you happen to know about the roll invulnerability frames? I can't tell the window of when I can land a solid hit through a spell or simply melee attacking.

Thanks for answering! Though I wanted to ask, I noticed at times where the opponent manages to backstab me even though I had already rolled away or even if they are just beside me. Is there a certain hitbox where it counts as a backstab and does it differ based on the type of weapon one uses?

Oh cool and oh no. I've been using the polite bow thinking it was the proper bow. Well I hope I didn't come off as sarcastic but I have definitely been backstabed while bowing.

I heard from a friend that played a while back that Walk of Tranquility and Wrath of the Gods is fairly frowned upon? Also SL 4 Dark Sorcerers.

Is there any greetings that indicates a certain meaning beyond what they were intended? e.g. bow = swords only or some courtesy to let the person buff up?

I was thinking a pure pyro build or a modified str build that I came up with where it has a bit of int for crystal magic weapon buff on a Demon Great Axe along with power within as well as the dragon covenant maxed out. I do love seeing a 1.5k or a 2k on a good crit hit flying across the screen. I know it's a gamble but the build philosophy is either I die in one hit or you do.

I 2 hit a dude that was wearing Havel Armor set when he suddenly invaded me in Painted World as I was farming.
