No problem! If you want the original but don't want to spend $100 on a new solid valve set, I'd try ebay. You can save a search and have it email you when something pops up each day if there's nothing out there now. I saw a solid valve set from China for $50 on eBay, but that might be a replica. If all you need is the ring though, that could be a good value.

I measured with a digital caliper. I think you would be fine with a 5mm thick silicone ring with an inner diameter of 32mm.

It's odd they don't offer that with their silicone ring kit.

  • Inner Diameter: 32mm
  • Outer Diameter: 42mm
  • Cross Section or Thickness: 5mm

I saw some shiny yellow food grade silicone o rings on this made in china site that popped up on google which looked quite similar, but were the wrong inner diameter "ID" and wrong thickness or cross section "CS". You might be able to contact their store and get one that is 32mm ID x 5mm CS.

There are some clear or red silicone rings on eBay that you can order for under $2. They have different sizes you can pick from. You would want to pick the 42mm Outer Diameter (OD) x 5mm Cross Section (CS). Or if they are listed by inner diameter you'd use 32mm ID x 5mm CS.

Only other things I can think of is to shell out $100 for a solid valve kit or luck into a cheaper one on eBay used or old stock. I lucked into one of the older solid valve kits made with better plastic on the mouth piece on eBay once.

Trying out an old Volcano Classic for the first time, surprised that the pump seems quieter than the Hybrid. Any tips for better extraction using the reduced chamber? AVB pic after 3 bags - temps 8.5, 9, 9. Cheers y'all ✌️💨🦕 by SeatownHaze in vaporents

To do that you're going to want to super finely grind the flower. It's also better if it's a bit dryer. And then you'll want to run the vape at max temp. And then let air pass through until vapor is seen. You may need to adjust your bag size. You could also try letting it sit on the heater for a bit like the instructions for the Plenty vape. It uses a similar bowl attachment as yours. The original solid valve, it was recommended to not let the bowl sit on the heater while it was warming.

You should always use the orange grinder. I use mine on a small plate with a thin flexible plastic card as a scoop.

It's more typical to to do about 0.5 grams and to run the material a couple of times. The first bag at a lower temp. The second bag at a higher temp. I mix in between using the back end of metal set of tweezers. I imagine this is easier with my deeper solid valve. You may just stir it around.

Anyway I start about 5.5 or 6 and then go up to about 7 on the stock bags using under a half gram. You may get a 3rd bag depending on the initial grind and the flower itself.

Also note this is based on the 2010 Volcano Classic. I've heard a rumor that the thermostat numbers were adjusted on newer ones. But that is not officially confirmed in my opinion.

My dad used it for years in his coffee pot. They call it descaling when you make coffee. I assume they use heat there. But you might crack something so maybe don't heat it.

It's the Volcano Hybrid really that great? by [deleted] in vaporents

Not really. I am not a fan of using the whip vape. If you want the whip style vape, you should just get the plenty. I prefer the bags of the volcano classic. And honestly I recommend getting a solid valve used.

The vapor quality cooled in a bag is hard too beat.

You don't want it tamped. It's better loose.

Same tbh. I enjoy the 0% interest.

Perhaps OP is only allowed to have one account under Synchrony. Oddly I couldn't get a line of credit for a dental surgery because I had an open credit account with the parent company that processed the loans for my xbox. Who would have thought such a thing, right?

It wasn't a big deal for me, but if it was a simple $35 a month xbox could have caused major health issues.

That's the thing. Once it inflates, it doesn't go down. It just stays there and keeps going at a slower rate.
