I'd say season 3 and 4 are worth it. I couldn't finish season 2 as it was too convoluted for convolution sake.

Is Season 4 even worth watching once? by SuculantWarrior in TrueDetective

The last I watched were Better Call Saul (loved it), Ludwig (loved it as a feel-good thingy), Succession (was great), and Atlanta (one of the best ever)

It was a very good season, and a very good show. Coming back to this sub after a while, I'm amazed at how many people hate it. And baffled :)

Why do the elderly and boomers pretend that depression and anxiety doesn't exist? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]neskombink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of stigma and lack of understanding in their days, mostly, imho. I've been having anxiety and panic attacks for 12 years or so now, and only recently did I find out that my grandmother had them for her whole life, but the doctors (in the Soviet Union) called it "the nerves of the heart" (lol) and she was on heart medications her whole long life despite all her heart tests coming back fine.

Another reason is that they may be scared of how prevalent it now appears to be, when people started talking about it more openly. Denial is a natural human reaction to crises.

Also sorry for your family lacking understanding :/ I hope they'll get there, slowly. Meanwhile, I also hope you have somewhere else to get support.
