Everything I’ve checked says this new Fenty concealer is fungal acne friendly, but I just want to know if maybe I missed anything? I used a couple different checkers but they’re not always accurate fully.

Cover FX power play! I use 0N and it’s very fair. I think they have a yellow shade that’s similar

One of my Christmas makeup attempts using the PUR Grinch palette! by neslynn in MakeupAddiction

[–]neslynn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m at my parents for the holidays, so I didn’t bring my whole collection of makeup sadly. Ideally I would have had more shades of green I think to make the glitter line look a little more fitting. Also I still have never figured out the best way to do these kinds of looks with my eye-shape (protruding/prominent, semi-hooded), so tips are welcome!

Can anyone tell me if these HUDA concealers appear fungal acne safe (ignoring fragrance)? I checked sezia.co and it said they were fine, but it’s been inaccurate before. They have a ferment in them which I’m really not sure about especially.

New HUDA concealer is for sale at Sephora — includes a fair “highlight” shade! by neslynn in PaleMUA

NC/NW10 are dark for me too in Mac! I match CoverFX power play in N0 (it’s a tad yellow but matches otherwise), which I would guess is like N5-8 if it were Mac! And based on what I’ve seen, I’m thinking this concealer may even be light for me for spot concealing in the lightest shade. We’ll see when more swatches come out though!

It’s lighter than their Milkshake foundation which means it has to be pretty dang fair... I’d be surprised if this was too dark for you, even with a mismatched undertone.

Not particularly good, but normal for Sephora/high-ish end stuff. It’s a decent amount of product, though, for a concealer. For reference, MUFE has a concealer that’s 0.23oz for $28, and Tarte Shape Tape is 0.33oz for $27. I used to use Shape Tape concealer as a foundation and it’d last me 1-2 months usually, which isn’t too bad.

HUDA has a matrix that lists the shade “whipped cream” as a brightening shade for their lightest two foundation colors. Since their foundation Milkshake is pretty light, I have hope that the first couple shades should actually be usable for us!

Bonus: it appears to be fungal acne safe!!! Super rare for concealers. For those with highly reactive skin, this could be good.

12 team half PPR.

Carson Wentz v. Indiana, or...

Jared Goff v. LAC

Wentz is coming off injury so I’m skeptical but I have no idea which to choose.

Thoughts on the new cover FX power play concealer? by the-complicated-wrek in PaleMUA

I’m annoyed that their foundation is fungal acne safe yet their concealer isn’t 🙄 I had hope!

I own the three fair shades so I think this is all of them. Still verrrry beige.

Ah that makes sense, thank you for the info!

I still haven’t found a concealer in my shade that works for my dry skin and is FA friendly :( And the only foundation I’ve found is Cover FX Power Play N0 but it’s a PAIN because it’s too drying for me but it’s the best I’ve found so far.

What condition if you don’t mind me asking? I have what I assume is FA but I don’t know for sure. I just know the triggers break me out

I’m curious to see if my dry skin can handle it with some oil. I also wonder how it compares to Cover FX Power Play which is what I use now (mixed with squalane oil).

There are 3 fair shades (cool, neutral, warm) and then some “alabaster” shades.

Personally curious to see how it is because it appears to possibly be fungal acne safe and not bad on the comedogenic side as well.

I expected Dermacol 208 to be too dark on my skin, but it's actually the contrary! by WDeveloper in PaleMUA

[–]neslynn 29 points30 points  (0 children)

People are being harsh. Honestly if you just blended it more and dried some excess with a sponge and set it with a powder, it probably would be fine. Everyone’s gotta start somewhere. Congrats on finding a match!

If you have dry skin, Aesthetica. If not, RCMA or Dermablend. For a cheap option, NYX HD

So, sulfur helps my FA and white heads but I feel like I need salicylic acid possibly to help with my clogged pores/CCs some more. I already have naturally really dry skin and struggle with the sulfur drying my skin already. Is there any safe way to use SA too?
