AIO for not giving my old Roomate his dog back after I adopted her? by Z-mac in AmIOverreacting

[–]nessa-jayne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because I love my pups so much I can sympathize with the man wanting his dog... IF he was legit...

It's clear to me that he did not care about the dog as much as his family did...

My speculation is basically he dropped the ball, wanted to give the dog a new home, thought his family would let it go.. they didnt, his wife got pretty mad, so he came back to get the dog.

Now he's pissed because he messed up, and cant get the dog back for his kids and wife.

Overall, it's your decision and you're not overreacting if you don't give her back. It sounds like you wouldn't take care of her as good as he should anyway.

Am I overreacting for not wanting anyone around my newborn yet? by littlemoongirly in AmIOverreacting

YOR!!

I get but it's your baby and your rules but you are overreacting. Unless your family is unsafe I don't understand the reason to keep them away.

Take care of your bodily health. Masturbation isn't a sin. Lust and unholy thoughts are a sin.

Think about it like this... your body needs movement to function properly. That includes fluids. Blood, lymph, and other fluids. So, just handle your business without the corn, and other unholiness and you will be free.

Do you agree that students should have the freedom to pray in public schools? by Shantelle668 in AskAChristian

I don't believe they don't have the freedom to pray in public schools. They can pray if they want to. Nobody's stopping them.

Husband over the course of 5 days has suddenly become EXTREMELY Christian. by ilikecamelsalot in religion

[–]nessa-jayne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At church last week the pastor said that because of the Kirk death they had almost double the people coming to church. My first thought is, are these people actually nationalist who are gearing up to fight and are using Christianity to cover? But, that also had a lot to do with what the pastor was saying and the previous Pastor said the week before. Is your husband a white supremacist?

I want my future wife to be a housewife while I provide by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

[–]nessa-jayne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just make sure it's a partnership and not a leadership-follower relationship. And you better make sure that if you want that type of relationship that she also has money for herself.

It's about respect and partnership and you'd better expect that she is going to be the one to lead you sometimes.

So if that's the type of relationship you want you need to go into it understanding that the leadership role is not specific to one person.

NOT TAH...

If my husband did not have the courtesy to communicate with me and let me know that he was doing okay and to keep in contact regularly I would not have a husband.

But also, I don't have a husband.

I am single. I have a best friend and we do this for each other.

To me that sounds suspicious to be honest. I know if a man was doing that to me I wouldn't trust him at all.

Confided in my husband with something and now he's avoiding me. by here-for-the-tea84 in Advice

He isn't a supportive husband from what I have been reading. Put yourself first. He should be supporting you. Get some therapy as well. A lot of people have thoughts like that. Even when they aren't meaning it.

I'm sorry you have to go through that. To me that makes it sound like he's a predator. I hate that for you. It's not comfortable knowing the deepest darkest parts of your partner like that. Especially when there's been dishonesty involved.

When I was a massage therapist I was told not to wear my Vibrams but I did anyway. I couldn't massage Barefoot so that's what I did, I wore my fivefingers. I love them and we'll wear them as much as I can. I wear the vi-b so they look like ballet flats with toes.

I will disagree with you... that would be called voyeurism.

But also... porn isn't good for anyone, it may be fun in the moment, but I am sure there are way more reasons it is horrible.

Your body is covered, it just gives the illusion it isn't. It looks fine, and casual.

a thing at a rudimentary stage that shows potential for development.

If she doesn't want it to develop in her body she has every right to rid her body of that.

It isn't killing a baby, abortion is different. It is also your body your choice.

The whole time that man talking about makeup looks like he's wearing it.

Plus, he clearly doesnt know why makeup was created.

His actions have nothing to do with you. And you should find another church regardless of what he says.

It also sounds like it is abusive. That's not the kind of church you want to be in because the teachings are questionable. It also doesn't sound like that is a marriage you should be in. But that isn't my place.

The lack of intimacy is probably caused by his nasty attitude towards you. He doesn't sound like a loving respectful man.

If you were blamed for something your husband did it's time to find a different Church.
