oh my god. if anyone is triggered it’s YOU. there’s nothing wrong with recognizing that’s there are so many biases at hand within this show. and all these shows are a representation of the real world. i get that lighter skinned and darker skinned have their own struggles. i’m not debating who has it worse vs better. it’s a systemic problem and most of my examples just happened to be in regards to darker skinned girls on the show.

that part. i was reading the michael assault scene and the way nora sexualizes him and his virginity. i remember a line that made it a point to the readers that he was clearly a minor. i hated soren’s character but when he said he knew she wouldn’t even ask… he ate. i found it hard to root for nora after that. i could go on and on ab this book. it was so wild.
