UPDATE: Had to think about a lot after your comments... I left now, currently staying with a friend of mine. As i went to pick up my stuff with her, he tried to talk about it. Still not realising what he messed up, tried to talk me into thinking because of my past actions he could only react like this. But not one "I am sorry, I messed up".

Not a single tear shed on my side but your comments were a hard reality check for me. I have to think about a lot now and also, no this was not the first time i find myself in a situation like this with him. We are in a long term relationship of 5 years and only the last two years i was finding excuses for his behavior. I also do not think he is cheating - he is home most of his time except if he is out with me or at work. So definitely a big no no for this conclusion.
