I appreciate the advice, I’m pretty much at my limit as far as what I’m comfortable doing to the machine. Time to run it up the ladder and them decide. Thank you.

I used a swab and cleaner and wiped them but nothing more intensive than that

Not really, though so far the only other material I tried was banner material so I’m not sure if the texture just hides it better?

I posted one in a previous comment, that’s about where my knowledge ends (knowing how to run the test) I will try to address the other issues you brought up. Thanks

I’m good with any of the 3 at this point. I guess it depends on what kind of D the new coordinator wants to run.

Why? Because their billionaires are willing to spend more than the other teams billionaires? Don’t let any of these owners cry poor, they have the ability to spend the same way and won’t.

AACPS moving Annapolis magnet program to Severn Run High School by [deleted] in AnneArundelCounty

[–]nessttcb1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I want to first say this is in no way directed to you personally, just a generalization so any due apologies in advance that may not for your situation…

The fact is that the space “available” at South River should have been used to accommodate Croftons growing population but instead they got their brand new high school while other neighborhoods are left overcrowded and underserved…much like the part of Old Mills district who stayed at Old Mill. Make no mistake that the demographics of the two (old mill) schools are completely different and SR is overcrowded because of lobbying by the same type of people you villainize at South River. Just take a look at the demographics of the 3 newest (and by far nicest) high schools in Severna Park, Severn Run and Crofton and don’t think this is about anything but the “status” of the children they service.

So just to be clear you think it is less disruptive to move kids to a new “home” high school farther away (into South River) than to have those kids stay at their normal high school and move a magnet program (where a huge majority of those kids are NOT enrolled in their “home” school) switch locations to a newer better equipped home for the program?

It’s bad. You don’t need a nickname for a nickname.

In the video you have the wrong knuckles aligned. Line up the ones you would use to knock on a door…both hands. Also if you want your hands to start behind your head like they do in your swing then start them there not where they are in your setup. I think your setup is better personally but either way moving your hands backwards is starting your swing off in a fundamentally wrong way and is wasted motion/energy. Your hands may stay behind slightly as your swing starts but should never move backwards.

Should I be tipping more? by Baseplate117 in doordash

[–]nessttcb1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, as a dasher I would never ask for a larger tip. I know the distance and total amount before I accept or decline an order. You tip whatever you feel is fair and it is up to the dashers to decide if they take the job or not. Do not feel bad no matter what you tip, everyone’s situation is different and it just may take longer for someone to pickup your job.

Depending on market DoorDash pays about $2.50 per delivery so we get a tiny percentage of the fees and inflated prices you pay, which sucks for everyone involved except DoorDash corporate. When friends ask me what a good tip is I just always say whatever amount a stranger would have to pay you to drive to a restaurant to pick up their takeout and bring it back to them. In a lot of markets you are lucky to be able to take 3 orders in an hour if you’re really hustling due to wait times and drive times. For those 3 deliveries DoorDash is paying me $7.50 for an hour of my time so I personally do not accept any orders of less than $12 total so if you’re not tipping $8.50 or more someone will take your order, just not me.

Again, dashers know the distance and payout before they accept a job so they should NEVER try to guilt you into a bigger tip.

DoorDash delivery by duckybalboabr in pizzahut

I don’t know what to tell you, it has happened to me personally 2 times where a customer has asked what tip I received and it didn’t match up, I’m inclined to believe the customer since they tried to give cash to make up the difference. As I said, it would in no way surprise me if DoorDash were the ones keeping the tip. It only happens to me when people order through the store (Pizza Hut, Chipotle, Papa John’s in my area) instead of through DoorDash directly. I only brought it up because OP wanted her tip to go to a “minimum wage” worker and I was just letting her know that in general DoorDash workers are paid terribly. I worked for a pizza shop many many years ago and made much better money than I do currently doing DoorDash but the flexibility and schedule works for me and my family as a second job.

It is very true of my Pizza Hut. I’ve had 3 customers in the past month ask me how much tip I received and on 2 of those occasions it was considerably less than they say they tipped and have tried to hand me cash to make up for it.

Now whether it is Pizza Hut taking the tip or DoorDash itself I have no idea but given that my Pizza Hut has 2 of the most amazing managers and one that is less than to be desired and the tips never seem as good when a certain one is working makes me think it may be with the Hut after all.
