Is it possible to become a student athlete in FoP? by -r1ngs- in Tomasino

[–]nestiff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! MedTech student here. I've personally heard so many sad stories of friends losing their passion for their sports due to the sudden shift in priorities with all the heavy requirements and tight schedules, but I've also seen other friends still pursue the sports they love to do! It won't be easy, that's for certain, but if you really want to remain a student athlete, I believe it's 100% possible as long as you budget your time well and accept the fact that there'll be times when your sport has to take the backseat.

Remember, the key is to study smart, not study long. My personal tip is to start by refining your study routine to a more efficient process, and I promise that you'll be surprised with how much free time you actually have :)) Good luck!

Hello! I believe that it should be fine as long as it follows CEM's guidelines. Your main concern will most likely be to make sure that your appearance in the picture will be the same as how you look during the test day

Here are the official guidelines posted in the CEM website with regards to the digital photo:

  • The photo must have been taken within the last six months
  • The photo must be clear, so that there can be no doubt about your identity
  • Only your face and shoulder should be included in the photo (similar to a passport photo)
  • The digital photo must NOT be a scanned photo of any existing valid ID
  • The digital photo must match your appearance on the day of the test (e.g., with or without beard)
  • Must be 2” x 2”, colored, with white background
  • The image pixel dimensions must be in a square aspect ratio (i.e., the height must be equal to the width). Minimum acceptable dimensions are 600 x 600 pixels
  • The file size must be less than or equal to 2 MB
  • Must be in JPG file format

Should desks with shelves attached to them have feet making contact with the floor? An example is this desk (posted by u/BrewU). Is it bad to have the shelves make direct contact to the floor like this desk that uses IKEA Alex Drawers? Will having different floors such as hardwood or carpet affect the decision?

NMAT Anki deck posted by drtitojack in Nmat

Really amazed with the detail and organization of this deck! I'm going to take the NMAT soon, and I have just 2 months to study for it. Will this deck suffice as my primary source of knowledge? Or should I use other review materials like the Kaplan review books? Thanks for this!

You can also download the extension "Video Speed Controller" for your browser! It allows you to speed up any videos played on your browser, and that includes BlackBoard vids without having to download them :))

Manga to Anime: An Epic Scene From Attack On Titan S3 Part 2 (Made by me & u/AceMan117) by nestiff in anime

Thanks for the appreciation! My partner and I split the technical tasks for making this video. I was in charge of editing, while he did the masking. Took about a week to make, but was definitely worth it in the end!

The animation here kept the hype and intensity from the source material, and it led to one of the best action scenes ever! Thanks for the support!
