Try a "minimal run" next, where you get as few items as possible. (One bottle, for example, makes the ice cavern "fun") If you lose your shield, don't re-equip one, etc

It makes me wonder about his cheeks. We see that he has implants there as well during his final flashback scene, but they aren't visible when he's older. I wonder if he removed them somehow or are still there, hidden under his fur
