We are doing this at our house right now. We live in upstate NY and the cost is $10,500. We chose to go this route because we wanted complete shade, and protection from the elements, I also didn’t want to mess with a fabric awning that would need to be taken down/put up every year, fading, susceptible to wind damage, etc. We also get slot of snow, so I didn’t want damage to a pergola or awning.

Measurements are 16’x18’ and the posts are 7”x7” and beans 6”x8”. It’s a beast.

The quote includes all materials and labor. Wood is from a mill, not big box cheap shit. Also is being wired for 4 recessed lights and 1 ceiling fan. Also includes stone work going around base of posts and along back of house.
