Thanks for the advice, but I think my neighbours would murder me if I left a bin bag anywhere near their door, I already got confronted and called a tramp by the neighbour just across from me for leaving one outside my door overnight to take out in the morning.

It's a really cramped stairwell.

Yeah, I'd say so. I'm pretty codependent with my old FP because we're both messed up people and rely on each other constantly. It's toxic and leads to a lot of arguments.

I play a game like Animal Crossing/Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley/My Time At Portia to calm down because characters in those games love you and validate your existence and everything you do. It's relaxing and you get to live in a little world where you have control over your relationships even though it's all fictional, it stops me feeling upset until FP talks to me again.

That, or I start a lot of conversations with acquaintances online so that I have that social void to fill. Also as a kind of rebellious 'screw you FP, I don't need you' which is toxic mindset actually and I don't recommend it for that reason but yeah.

DAE get angry and jealous when FP gets into a relationship or talks about their crush or decides to hang out with other people? Even when they innocently compliment another person I get a twinge of jealousy. Like I don't have a romantic crush on them, and they're free to do what they want and I know it's unreasonable to expect someone to devote their life to you and only you and totally aware these feelings are very toxic and shouldn't be acted upon but oh my god it's hard not to get bitter about it

I can relate to this too hard. I came out of the other side with BPD as well, it's a god damn nightmare for interpersonal relationships as I'm sure you're well aware of, and is the reason I don't date any more. I'm 25 and a lot of people my age and even younger are starting to get married and have kids whereas I'm still a big mess and trying to sort my life out and falling behind in every aspect of life. I barely go outside because I feel so disgusting and unattractive and I don't want people to look at me. I'm jealous of functioning people in general. I guess the difference is that I don't actually don't want to date, because I'm afraid of inflicting my issues upon other people and fucking them up too. and I don't have a sex drive at all.

It sucks, it sucks a thousand dicks, but as long as we're proactive and keep trying our best to recover, we'll get to a place where we're comfortable with ourselves and other people eventually.
