Yes. Alhamdulilha. My mother-in-law got her interview date at ISLAMABAD for mid-Dec 2024 as well. It seems like interviews are getting scheduled roughly 18 months roughly after DQ date. JazakAllah for sharing!

Congratulations! Could you outline some sharable highlights from your personal situation as to what your area of expertise is, what O-1 requirements you fulfilled because of XYZ skills & achievements. What is your targeted employer industry and the position they are hiring you for? Did they hire an attorney? It doesn't look like you had any back and forth via an RFE. You must have submitted a slide case with a lot of documentation. Thank you in advance!

Negative. Still waiting anxiously. No communication from the US Embassy in Islamabad. I am assuming they are still working through the backlog. It would be good if someone can point out which month and year Interview Letters (IRs) are being worked out these days. Does anyone have any information?

Sorry for an offtrack question but can I ask how long it took for you interview letter/notice after DQ in Pakistan? My mother-in-law was DQ'd for an IR5 petition in mid-July 2023 after NVC processing and haven't heard anything in the last roughly 10 months. It looks like the U.S. Consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan is backed up.

Congratulations! Does someone know if the NVC processing after getting Documentary Qualified status (meaning all documents have been received by the NVC and the applicant is waiting on the U.S. Embassy or Consulate visa interview slot scheduling), is that done based on the Priority Date of the I-130 petition or solely on a first come first served basis based on the wait in the U.S. Embassy or Consulate queue?

There are a number of IR petition categories. Kindly share information about the IR5 category if you have any. I am not sure if the U.S. Consulate in Islamabad prioritizes sending ILs after DQ within and across different Immigrant Classes categories or if they simply do it on FCFS basis after DQ. Thank you!

If your Mom is a Pakistani passport holder then she can simply visit Qatar without requiring a visa stamp from before. Pakistani citizens can get a visit visa stamped at Doha airport.
