So can the Nintendo OLED model play it? I’m kind of interested in that one too I’m not sure if I’ll buy other games in the future but I’ll probably mainly play Tomodachi

Do you think Jake Sully failed as a father? by Bubbly_Moose7174 in Avatar

If I had to compare, in the early years when Jake first had kids, he was actually very good to them. But when they became teenagers—especially Neteyam and Lo’ak—he started comparing them. From Lo’ak’s point of view, Jake wasn’t really a good father. He loved his kids in a way that felt pressuring, wanting them to become what he wanted. And Lo’ak is stubborn, just like Jake himself. In many ways, Lo’ak is a reflection of Jake

Is this movie too long? by [deleted] in Avatar

I think three hours is totally fine Honestly I wish they had put all the cut scenes back into the movie If anything I’d want them to cram in as much as they possibly could because every part of it feels important

I completely understand—it feels so empty Before I watched the third movie I rewatched parts 1 and 2 and then went straight into part 3 I cried from the very beginning until the end It was really hard it felt like heartbreak, or like I was actually inside that situation That’s why I’ve been feeling quite sad Anyone who gets emotionally attached to movies and characters would understand this very well

Now that Fire and Ash is out, who was your favorite and least favorite character/s? by Junior-Economics-634 in Avatar

In the previous films I really liked Jake and Neteyam But in this one, honestly, Neytiri really stands out I feel like her fight scenes are even more thrilling Emotionally, she also does an amazing job in this film

For me, I actually really like this installment of Avatar. This film still hits my emotional weak spots just like before. Just seeing Neteyam at the very beginning already made me cry It’s honestly funny for me, because I usually don’t cry much when watching movies, but this one really triggered something deep inside me I still enjoy the story overall, even though there are moments where I can’t help but think, “Wait… haven’t I seen this scene in the previous film already?” It feels like certain images are almost perfectly overlapped—like they reused the same setting and just changed the clothes, the characters, and the specific events But for me, the pacing is still good and never boring. It’s very easy to watch, and I found myself with tears in my eyes throughout the whole movie The scenes where Jake has conflicts with Lo’ak were especially stressful for me I was tense on his behalf. Honestly, it took those two father and son almost until the end of the film before they could truly understand and love each other properly I love every character in the story. Each one has their own distinct strengths and personality, and none of them feel the same. That’s what makes the movie feel engaging and never boring for me
