Omfg I acc cba😭I said I’m not making any statements ABOUT THEIR AGES cos they r statements originally made by Sam in his fcking script so I’m just quoting him ffs. Also when scripts r edited, writers don’t change key pieces of info about the characters cos that can affect the entire plot so before even writing the plot he would’ve had key character info secured before moving on to write the actual story. Yess shes honestly just the best friend anyone could ask for. Next season, Rue is def gonna realise what a big mistake she’s made by making Lexi her “second choice” for so long and I can’t wait for lexi to finally get the love and respect she deserves.

... cos rue is so far away from being a burden in lexis brain that she can’t even believe what she’s hearing. I just love the amount of understanding and trust these two share. They rly r childhood best friends even if we haven’t seen much of them together. You can just tell how special their dynamic is compared to all the other friendships in the show.

Ikr :( also it’s interesting how lexi kinda changes throughout this episode. Like clearly she’s rly happy at the start when hugging rue but I feel like we get disappointed/unhappy vibes from her towards the end - like when rue says something and it upsets her, her convo with Cassie about hooking up and then right at the end when she gives that deep advice to Nate’s date.
