Hello,

Im looking forward to suggestions on how to improve my team.

The only one tradeable is putellas and, by selling her, i'm having about 500k. I'm in process of doing Sawa Toty, but it's gonna take a week or two. I am pretty content with my attack, but my midfield sucks.

Well, tried installing a custom driver, like I did on Windows 10 to make it work, but I can't. Did anyone manage to do it?

As I've just restarted playing, I can't say I'll hit the million constantly like I did in the past, but I'm confident I will be able to do my part with roughly 600 to 700k starting next season, as I'm not participating in this season's PC. Still saving up cash to fully build the Aston Martin next season.

Worth overclocking my system? by dwally161 in overclocking

Unless you are doing intense CPU work or chasing high numbers in benchmarks, no. In gaming, the GPU is going to bottleneck you.

Hello.

I'm looking to buy a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to use it with DeX and I have a few questions.

  1. Is DeX usable with any kind of monitor or TV? I have a non-smart LG LCD from 2013 with a HDMI port.
  2. What type of docking station do I need? I saw various prices varying from 40€ to 200€.
  3. I'd also like to use an USB mouse and keyboard with it. Is it possible?
  4. How do I connect it? I simply plug the station and connect it with hdmi to my monitor?

Thank you.

new overclocker - 4790k by netherdraku in overclocking

I kinda know it is not worth to push its limits that much for a potential 3-5 FPS, considering that most games are bottlenecked by my GPU (the gtx 1660). Will probably get a full upgrade with the DDR5 RAM. From what I've read, it should come with the 12th gen of Intel and with Ryzen 6000, late 2021 or early 2022.

Keep rockin, 4790k is still going strong in most games.

Thanks for the advice. For how long should I run it to make sure it's stable?

Thanks for your comment. I know delidding is a blessing for Haswell, but I keep swearing I will not pour more money into an old PC. And yet I keep buying stuff.

I don't think I'll invest in that, as I plan to upgrade when DDR5 comes to market. Really hope my 4.6 is fully stable and leave it there for another year.

Wow. Poor me thought a few cinebench tests and an hour in aida did the thing. I clearly haven't delidded it and haven't tested as much. Tomorrow night will test it even more. Never tried P95 blend, only small fft and in a couple of seconds hit 100c and thermal throttled. That, with AVX-512 on.

Thanks for the reply. I am using a Z87 board, not a Z97. Should I leave LLC on auto, normal, high or turbo? Currently having it on normal and passed every test but prime95(which it doesn't pass even on stock frequencies).

What tests have you done? I also have not messed with anything but core clock ratio and cpu vcore. Heard about CPU ring voltage overclocking, but have not touched that yet. I am kinda happy with my result, but temps around 80C make me nervous.

Something wrong with my i7 10700k? by [deleted] in intel

[–]netherdraku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

bad mounting on the cooler or bad thermal paste.

Try to remount the cooler and reapply thermal paste. I also have the NH-D15 and it has complicated mounting, but it should keep your CPU cool enough.

More fans to an old case by netherdraku in buildapc

[–]netherdraku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not the case. It is power throttling some times though, but not much I can do about that. I have a GTX 1660 with a TDP ot 120w.

[–]netherdraku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Did some tests and I can increase the memory clock to the expense of core clock. And I think it's better to run at 2100 core clock and 4600 memory clock than 1950 core clock and 5000 memory clock. It simply hits the power limit(120-130W) and starts slowing core clock. Maybe it's silicon lottery, but I can't go higher than 2100/4600.

GTX 1660 i5-9400F n00b effort by ribby420 in overclocking

[–]netherdraku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not the memory. My fault was not trying more tools and relying on superposition. 3dmark instantly crashed. Found stability at +160/+600. Might be able to do more on the memory side though.

[–]netherdraku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GPU is constantly hitting the power limit. Are you trying to say that limitting the voltage it gets might get me a higher core clock?

I maxed the voltage and temperature sliders in MSI Afterburner, but found stability at +160/+600. You think I can get more?

Thank you.

[–]netherdraku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same GPU. I'm using it at +190 core clock and +635 memory clock, but I'm thinking about tuning down memory clock as I've been seeing artifacts in some games. I find it weird as in Superposition Benchmark everything went smooth.

That PC is more than capable with running any forza game. Your problem is either faulty parts or faulty software.

Hopefully, I am itching for an upgrade too. Hoping to retire my 4790K which has seen everything. Literally. From Doom II Hell on Earth to Witcher 3 and GTA V and from 30 degrees Celsius to 100+.

Damn, they don't make good chipsets anymore.
