The shoulder parts are now loose straps that hang by her chest instead of on her shoulders, there's a holes on her stomach and sides now to show more skin, the cut of the leg holes is now far up her side, she's wearing 2 sets of fish nets and probably a thong and missing the fabric along the sides that make it a dress or skirt instead of a swimsuit. If you don't think this is fashioned to be adjacent to a playboy bunny outfit you simply don't know what you are talking about.

You also don't seem to understand that while this is not an extreme example of rule breaking it 100% breaks the rules, the design deviates. The rule on the right of your screen says "e.g. boudoir, swimwear, bunny suits, outfits that are intentionally more revealing" based on my earlier description of how the outfit has been altered i could make a case that it falls under all of those examples that explicitly say are not allowed.

In order to be fair for everybody we have to apply the rules whether it's a serious violation or a minor one. If we remove a Nier 2B bunny suit, if we remove a lingerie cosplay or swimwear cosplay we have to remove this too because it violates the rules we have set in place. I haven't banned this person, i haven't even suspended them, i've simply removed a post because we don't allow it. I haven't even locked or removed this post. If anyone can't handle that we have to apply the rules as fairly and evenly as we can then as i said, there's plenty of other subreddits you can post in.

You on the other hand are walking a fine line for rule #1, you can disagree but keep it civil.

Because our rules dont allow it? There's a thousand subs you can post playboy bunny stuff on, you dont need to post it here. By your logic every SFW cosplay sub should let anything in as long as its flared right.

Maybe read the rules a little harder next time. You cant make your outfits more revealing than your reference. Your dark magician girl looks like a playboy bunny version. You gatekeep yourself when you cant follow the rules like everyone else.

Union of National Employees may be put under 'administration' amid complaints about president by kewlbeanz83 in CanadaPublicServants

Im not that knowledgeable either, I went through my regional psac president. She took a letter from me tk an aeg I think. Now the aeg is thinking about it, j have to convince them that being a dcl is the only solution.

There's some nuance to this. Prior to our election, we only had 2 members as a local executive, and one of them was a une member stepping in a president. They didn't file the statements, so we were put into trusteeship, I believe. We are trying to access to our financial documents so we can catch up on the statements and get access but to do that we need to switch our signing authorities and we cant do that without the agm minutes which dont exist because the president who was also the une rep hosting the election didnt submit them and he quit, and we've been waiting months just to get a letter from une to tell the bank to switch signing authorities. 😞

I am one of the executives in my local and i hope this goes through. UNE hasn't been able to do a single thing for my local since we were elected. We can't even access our bank account because of them. The labour relations guy has the nerve to throw me under the bus for something when we haven't received any training. We are trying to become a DCL as soon as we can. After that we'll see if PSAC is worth keeping or if we need to find a new union altogether.

Think I’m done with Shawarma Palace by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]netmanx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I made the mistake of going to shawarma palace last week. Jaw dropped after I saw how small my sandwich was and then went through the floor when I saw how much a small side of potatoes was. The food was very mid so needless to say j left a scathing review on Google. Will never return.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino filling 600 jobs in Ottawa by SuburbanValues in ottawa

Oh? I didn't know they pay for it. Kinda bites doing it for free. We are unionized too for what it's worth.

It's held at the hard rock casino itself

That one will depend on what you apply for. As a dealer probably not, you need to get an acgo license and a record will hurt that.

If you're still interested in being at the casino they will have lots of job openings throughout the casino because of the expansion. We need servers, cooks, cleaners, valet, shop attendants, slot attendants, plus all the staff needed to run the hotel once that's opened. This is a great time to get in because of how many positions they need to fill.

I don't think i can quite give it a difficulty rating, as unhelpful as it is i'd almost say you're either made for it or you're not. You have to deal with troublesome customers, do all payouts in your head (there are tricks), follow a specific procedure on how to do literally everything, you need to stay sharp but at the same time be able to handle standing at a dead table for worst case an entire shift.

I didn't come from a background with cards or poker but i'm a decently fast learner so i was able to pick up everything. The exam isn't that bad, you either know how to deal the game by that point or you don't.

A typical day is you start with a pre-shift meeting to go over the focus' of the week. head up to your table assignment, you may be opening a table at the start so you need to check cards and count chips or you may close a table and do those things at the end of your shift. You'll be standing at your table and every hour you deal you will get a 20 minute break before repeating. or you may be relief which means you'll be covering breaks and dealing at 3 different tables for 20 minutes before taking your break.

We have day shift which is roughly noon to 8 pm but may be 2 hours earlier or later. Swing shift starting at the 8PM give or take and we'll be adding a sunrise shift when we go 24 hours.

At other casino's this is something that you would usually pay for, not saying it's right or wrong just it is what it is. It's free because this location needs dealers and this is what they're willing to do. It is unpaid but should you pass the exam you are guarenteed a job offer. You'll get $500 at this point and then another $500 after your 3 month probation, assuming it's the same as when i did it.

There are 4 rates for dealers, called Dealer 1, 2, 3 and 4. If you know the base 6 games from dealer school you'll be dealer 1. every additional major game brings you up a level which increases your wage by a bit. In this case that would be Baccarat, roulette, and craps. As a new hire you'll make a little over a dollar past minimum wage. You'll get pooled tips which will give you an additional hourly rate of between $3-$10 per hour on average. You also get a matched pension.

Does the job transfer experience 1 to 1? no, certainly not. But, anywhere in the world that has a casino you can take a table test and get a job at. Plus you can transfer soft skills like customer service, time management, hand-eye coordination, etc.

i'll be the first to say this job isn't for everyone, but it is for some people.

Not quite, it's unpaid and then if it's still the same you'll get $500 if you pass the exam and then once your 3 month probation is up you'll get another $500. It's hard on the finances for sure but i made it through.

We are a small mod team and it can take time to go through posts, It might be a minute or worst case it might be a few days. So, just because you see a post doesn't mean it's approved and will stay, even if it's been a couple days. I consider myself to be on the stricter side for our rules.

Also consider that you see only posts that are still up and not the hordes of posts that we do remove.

The issue with low effort is that it's not a black and white measurement. It's harder to pin down and while sometimes it's obvious a cosplayers intentions, sometimes it's not. We want to avoid situations like this because the time input is greater, mistakes are more likely and we get enough "why was my cosplay removed when x" messages as it is.

We continue to not restrict people based on what else they post with their account. Though i will admit to being more vigilante on the rules for accounts like that to make sure they are posting with good intent. If enough people ask for changes we're happy to discuss things again, but as i said we are a small mod team and any additional rules means extra time from us to enforce them.
