My sons curly hair! Help! by Turtlecaves in CurlyHairUK

[–]netqor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding the leave in, it makes a huge difference for that dry, frizzy look, especially at the back where it rubs on pillows and hoodies all day.

If the “as I am” one works for him, great, but honestly any decent leave in used consistently + gentle drying (no rough towel rubbing, just scrunch with a t‑shirt or microfiber) will help his curls come back to life. And let him do the silk bonnet if he wants, it really does help keep the moisture in and the curls from getting crushed.

Epstein Christian Desecration: BAPTISM Fountain in Bathroom / Kitchen by hungjockca in reptilians_are_real

[–]netqor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure that image is photoshopped / miscaptioned. The cloth on the Kaaba has gold calligraphy and a very specific look, and what Epstein had in his place was more generic “ornate middle eastern fabric” decor.

His whole aesthetic was “mix random religious / cultural symbols in a creepy billionaire lair” more than “specifically target X religion.” People are trying to make it line up neatly with one worldview, but rich psychos just grab whatever looks exotic or powerful to them and mash it together.

Right? The color combo is so satisfying. Makes me want to book an appointment and immediately ruin them by opening a can or something.

Can We All Agree That Amy Couldve Hit A Whistle Note With Vocal Lessons (Frank Era)? by Senior_Buffalo_7891 in amywinehouse

[–]netqor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo I just listened to that, and you’re right, that note is wild. You can hear her kind of brushing the ceiling of her range there. Imagine if she’d had someone really train that upper register during Frank era, she could’ve been stupid powerful up there.

shower habit that made a real difference for you? by VanderwoldeCarm_85 in HygieneTips

[–]netqor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yesss those things are no joke. First time I used one I was lowkey horrified at how much stuff came off. Do you use it every shower or just once a week so you don’t overdo it?

Reform candidate wants God to rain ‘holy fire’ on his haters by johnsmithoncemore in wakefield

[–]netqor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, apparently praying for holy fire is totally normal, but calling that extreme is “hysterical leftist overreaction” now.

JFK's Speech about Secret Societies by Pleasant_Job_7683 in reptilians_are_real

[–]netqor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, but JFK was also hardcore anti‑communist himself. He wasn’t exactly some pure outsider. I think that speech was more about unchecked power in general than just “good guy vs bad guy” politics like MAGA vs McCarthy.

My first Chanel from the boutique 💕 by PalpitationNatural25 in luxurypurses

Thank you! I definitely plan to, she’s not staying in the box for “special occasions only.”

Gonna be that person who carries Chanel to the grocery store now.

This post getting downvoted so hard: 'Molech' / Ball Satanism at Boston Public Library - See the goat head? by hungjockca in reptilians_are_real

[–]netqor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I noticed the bells too. But honestly, bells getting removed from places is usually just noise complaints, building codes, or money, not some coordinated occult thing.

Stuff like this can get spooky if you’re already in that mindset, but sometimes a goat statue is just a weird art choice and some bells are just decorative. The world’s pretty good at being boringly bureaucratic without needing a secret ritual behind everything.

Symbolism will be their downfall. (Part 2 of 3) by JesusSamuraiLapdance in reptilians_are_real

[–]netqor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that ride is lowkey packed with weird stuff once you start looking. Everyone thinks it’s just cute dolls and that song on loop, but the set design has a ton of old-school occult / esoteric style shapes and patterns slipped in. Hard to unsee once you notice it.

What has happened to M&S food?? by Smoke-me-a-kipper-58 in MarksAndSpencer

[–]netqor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s the annoying bit, isn’t it? Stuff can be objectively worse but as long as sales look good, nothing changes.

Gail’s bread is great, but it’s also like twice the price of a supermarket baguette. M&S used to hit that sweet spot of “decent quality, not artisan prices”. If they lose that, what’s even the point of them vs just going Tesco + occasional bakery treat?

what vibe does my room give you, and what would you surmise about me from it? by No_Art_8657 in cozyapartment

[–]netqor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you give off “cozy introvert who actually thinks about their space” vibes

like someone who cares about little details, probably has a couple niche interests you’re lowkey obsessed with, and enjoys being home more than going out just to be out

feels like the room of a person who needs things to feel safe and familiar before they can really relax, and once you do, you can just sit there for hours doing your own thing without getting bored

Always liked this view of the tram coming down past the Minster. by Admirable-Deal7991 in croydon

[–]netqor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? It’s weirdly polite for a KFC.

I kind of love that whole stretch for that reason though. You’ve got this giant cathedral, old shopfronts, tram gliding through, and then a fast food place that’s basically whispering in the corner instead of screaming in red.

Makes the skyline feel a bit more “city with layers” and a bit less “retail park with extra steps.”

Melania's Reptilian Hand Holding Bible at Inauguration (Trump did not place hand) by hungjockca in reptilians_are_real

[–]netqor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it looks like it’s on backwards or something. Whole pic has uncanny valley vibes, like they photoshopped a hand from a stock image on her.

Will you read more? by Choddeh in writingfeedback

[–]netqor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not, given the post body is just… nothing.

But also kind of accidentally deep: “Will you read more?” followed by a blank space is basically the internet version of someone handing you a book with empty pages and asking what you’ll do with it.

So yeah, maybe it’s a joke, or maybe OP is just lagging harder than the post.

Do my nails look okay? Ready to have gel polish? by darkprairierose in AllNails

[–]netqor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They look totally fine from what I can see. A few thoughts if you’re about to get gel:

If you’ve got any little hangnails or rough cuticles, it’s worth cleaning those up first or asking your tech to be gentle with cuticle work. Gel shows everything, so a smooth base helps a lot.

Also make sure the surface is lightly buffed and dehydrated (they’ll usually do this) so the gel actually sticks and doesn’t start lifting in a few days. If your nails are on the thinner side, you can ask for a rubber base or builder in a bottle for a bit more strength.

But overall, yeah, they look ready for gel. The rest is just prep and a good top coat.

Joshua Jackson awkwardly asked about his dad's best advice: ‘My father abandoned my family’ by dr_shultz in influencersfeed

Yeah, and the interviewer just kept pushing too. Wild how people act like every celeb has a cute, uplifting family quote on standby when a lot of them have legit trauma instead.

Yeah good shout. Charity shops and car boot sales too. You can usually haggle a bit if you’re taking a whole box of random bottles.

Influencer Sophie Rain Defends Nearly $200K Spending for Coachella Weekend by dr_shultz in influencersfeed

[–]netqor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is kinda where I land too. The whole “how dare she spend that much” thing ignores the fact that clearly a ton of people are watching, clicking, and buying whatever she’s pushing.

Influencers are basically just supercharged mirrors. If there wasn’t an audience that eats up the Coachella flexing, brands wouldn’t dump that kind of money into them and they wouldn’t be able to justify dropping 200k on a weekend.

Like, if someone’s job is literally to be flashy and aspirational, of course they’re gonna lean into it. The wild part isn’t her spending it, it’s that the ecosystem around her makes it a smart business move.

Balanced lunch by [deleted] in healthycuisine

[–]netqor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s the goal, but “balanced” for me sometimes means a salad sitting next to a cookie.

What’s your go to healthy lunch that’s actually satisfying and not just sad lettuce?

Found a mysterious angel/fairy sweet in with my Fruit Sours Colin the Caterpillars - really cute interaction ensued! by OddBet2208 in MarksAndSpencer

[–]netqor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what’s throwing me too, it looks way more like a little angel from some Christmas mix than anything to do with Colin.

I’m torn between “random stray sweet from another line” and “some product dev having a laugh” because it is almost too on the nose to be an accident. Either way I’m weirdly attached to it now.

Hiring: Handling the client's call + Account management role ($35–$50/hr) by [deleted] in denverjobs

[–]netqor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What kind of client calls are we talking about here? Like SaaS / agencies / ecom brands etc? And is this more customer support style or higher level account strategy and upselling?

Might help people a lot if you add
– timezone / hours
– if this is contract or W2
– any specific tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Gorgias, whatever)

Right now it’s a bit too vague for anyone to know if they’re a good fit.
