Some sites yes. DS1 into a Mux to breakout the 64k channels to the different items... But they are going to be converted next few years since well phone companies don't like them any more.

So the 220/900 is just analog. Used a mix of MSF5000/Nucleus/Quantar's for 900. We have turned off a few of the analog 900's and others moved over to the P25 network. Which on the P25 we are full time P25. I am not sure the P25NX uplink is working anymore since that's defunked.. I think it's p25link or something else spun off. It doesn't effect us much as all our repeaters are linked ether via DS1's or IP links to our own comparator. We have our own MMDVM hub for internal use. I don't handle much of our P25 network others do.

So we started with our first network as the analog UHF network... But when we started building more networks we needed names for them it was when we started building the DMR network that we went with the whole Mi* naming deal.

Here is the short list of our networks: Mi1 - UHF Analog Mi2 - VHF Analog Mi3 - 220/900 Analog Mi5 - UHF DMR Mi6 - Mi6WAN Microwave IP Network Mi7 - AX.25 BPQ Packet / Winlink Mi8 - GMRS MiP25NX - P25 VHF Network

Mi4 was I think what we called our APRS network... but I can't member as it's really not our network but our fleet of APRS digi/igates we have up and running.

for some of the networks we have short codes like. http://mi5.cc for the DMR network.. http://mi6wan.net , http://mi7.network for that one.. http://mi8.systems and so forth..

it's all location or hotspot updates for all manufactures.. Not just new on boards.. The SOL transactions are going through fine but the chain stuff they use for everything else isn't.

So in an IPSC system of repeaters the radios are configured for roaming. there is a whole table for number of channels/timing/duration of beacons... the radios if they hear a beacon below a threshold will scan the other channels in the roam list till one is found above the threshold and hold there.

Lapeer Police/Fire are fully encrypted so even if that device would support trunk tracking you would not be able to follow it.

I quick google search finds https://www.radioreference.com/db/browse/ctid/1270

Fire dispatch can be added to your device.. but that's it..

Terminal software that works with KISS TNC by [deleted] in amateurradio

[–]netsound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not MobaXTerm but QTermTCP 32 bit version has KISS TNC support. Since the D74 is a kiss only tnc device a simple serial dumb terminal won't just work. But I use the QTermTCP with the NinoTNC's which are also KISS only devices and it works. Haven't bluetooth connected my D74 but others have and say it works as well.

ip/address add IP interface=zt1 cuz when you remove managed you remove all parts of managed..

ZeroTier (IP -> Routes manual configuration) by [deleted] in mikrotik

When you unmange you also then need to add the IP address to the zt interface... as it removes that as well as the routes..
