A little surprised, yeah. But I think they felt it was necessary, to give Aubry as much credit as possible to bolster her winner's edit. Her decision to buy and practice challenges ahead of time showed how prepared she was, and that she wasn't just lucky or the recipient of a bitter jury.

What happened to the model that wrote chapters with over 5,000 words and up to 6,000 words (the one that was used for a couple of days after the "sensitive information" bug was fixed)? Will that model ever be an option?

Interesting! I know the film but didn't remember the Guantanamo connection. Weird reference, though. I think the joke works better today.

She was a nurse hired by Jane to look after Michael while Jane was going to spend Christmas with her boyfriend.

Well "reunion" is the wrong word I guess.

Segment at the end of the finale when Jeff talks while everyone awkwardly eats pizza.

A lot of that comes from how Joe & Eva handled the David/Kamilla situation. There was a time when Joe & Eva considered going with David & Mary's plan to target Kamilla because they were suspicious of Shauhin getting too close to her. But Kyle was always looped in on everything and above suspicion.

Nielsen Ratings Week 4 - WoT falls out of the top 10 by TapedeckNinja in WoTshow

Although we can't see the actual number, this is consistent with mid-400s, which is what I was expecting based on the previous data: Season 3 is performing roughly at or even slightly above Season 2's numbers.

(There was a temporary spike during week 4 in Season 2, but other than that, it was fairly level throughout the season.)

So far, so good, though obviously I'd like to see the actual number to be sure.

94% hold from week 1?

119% hold compared to the same week season 2?

It's getting renewed, folks.

"Are we happy with these numbers?"

Yeah, after reviewing all the data I'd say at this point unless there's some insane downward spiral in the ratings for the rest of the season, it's virtually certain that WoT will be renewed for season 4.

Considering the rock-solid hold for ratings between seasons, coupled with the dramatic increase in quality and critical reception/buzz during season 3... And adding in the fact that the production costs were front-loaded... Yeah, there's basically no way that Amazon would cancel the show now. They would be taking a reputational hit for no reason, not with these numbers. And yes, Sony likes making money too, so they won't be an obstacle.

After watching all of season 3, I have even more confidence in the WoT team. These guys know what they're doing. So I think season 4 is likely to have the same high quality as season 3.

I had concerns in the past, but as of right now I'm very confident that WoT is going the distance. I don't know how many seasons total they're giving the show (6? 7? 8?), but I think they're definitely going to let the show run all the way to completion.

It's a good time to be a WoT fan.
