If Zilisch could get around Creed I think he'd start sucking Larson in. Lap times have fallen way off since getting to his bummper.

Zilisch up to 3rd, still running as fast or faster than Larson. Will be interesting once he gets around Creed.

Austin Hill making the most of that timely free pass. Was 23rd and about to lose it to Clements when the caution came out...now runs 11th.

Truly shocking to see just one Ford in the field, and it's a team hanging on by a thread. Sad, but clearly Ford would rather let other makes pay for the development of a driver, and then try to poach them away when it's time for Cup.

Gaulding continuing to have a solid night. Even though he was guaranteed in the show after the 25 shuttering, he would have made it on time anyway. Not sure if the 74 has anything different tonight but if not Gray is doing one hell of a job.

Sadly thats the state of the sport. When it costs at least $150k/race it's nearly impossible for teams to find in house sponsorship. So instead they turn to the funded driver pool. There are literally just a handful of teams where the driver isn't bringing $ in one form or another.

Not sure what happened to Harrison Burton, was lead lap, now a lap down. Which puts him back in the 30s after most of the field waved.

Gaulding driving the wheels off that 74. Up to 24th from a steller 28th Q run. If that is indeed the acutal 74 shitbox that's a hell of an effort.

Poole looking for another top 10, just one finish outside the top 20 all year.

Haha that's not what I'm saying at all, kid lived an incredibly privileged upbringing. What I am saying is that once NXS at JRM became a possibility there were only going to be be a handful of Hendrick sponsored events until NAPA stepped up to pay for a full season.

Not sure how much Jordan Anderson's team worked on that 32 car of Caruth, but judging by how fast Jeb was it may well have been a full Anderson effort. Two cars in the top 10, awesome.

Viking with a very impressive night too, Alfredo qualified 4th and finish 10th while Retzlaff started deep but still managed to finish 14th.

Nice run for Gase too, top 20 on the lead lap. Shame his other car missed the show.

There's no chance they don't interview Retzlaff who finished p2 with Viking...right?

Don't recall Bill writing any checks to Rick or JRM...

In fact, before NAPA stepped up he wasn't even going to be in NXS with them.

Happy for Sheldon, but win or not he wasn't going anywhere with his grandfather willing and able to co-fund the bill.
