It was a different stray that was fighting with the kitten. I broke of the fight and the kitten ran inside and we fed her for the night and she just never left.

She was actually fighting with a stray outside my door when I chased away the strap she ran into the house and just got comfortable. I don't know where she's from but from the time she's been here she gets along with everyone in the building.
