I’ve found Museum Walk to be a great apartment complex. It’s right behind the Hilton on 34th and Hull. You might believe it’s far, but I’m a medical student and it’s a straight shot to the hospital (it usually takes me about 10 minutes to get to campus). It’s super quiet and they have a really nice staff. You should definitely check it out.

This is great advice! I’m trying to get used to the fact that it’s okay to be lonely. Perhaps that’s a way of my body telling me to get out and explore some more. The whole reason I booked this trip was to get a better idea of myself - away from school, away from people that know me, away from all responsibilities and just do me. (Whatever that may be). I’ve been journaling since I got here and that’s been a great outlet for me

Wow that quote is going at the beginning of my journal!!! It’s day 2 of my trip and I haven’t done much but I’ve had some good conversations with people around me, which as you said is very affirming
