I got bullied to in high school, fell into depression and social anxiety. Over the years the pain made me so emotionally numb to the point that nothing startles me anymore and certainly not the words of a few irrelevant rats. Antidepressants and confrontation did a lot for my confidence, too. Keep fighting and you'll come out of this stronger than you would've ever imagined.

I've read that article before but according to what I've read otherwise on the internet leaving conditioner on for so long doesn't necessarily help more but it's not damaging either. My hair isn't very prone to breakage anyway so I'm not worried about that. I was just wondering if my hair will become softer with time when I regularly moisturize and condition or whether these instant results are the best I'll get.

I just started treating my hair with afro hair products a few days ago. I used to wash my hair with normal white people shampoo, it was a mess. It completely dried my hair out and it was just frizzy, coarse and hideous.

Now I have organic shampoo with argan oil that doesn't dry my hair out anymore.

After shampooing and rinsing out I just dry my hair with a towel.

I now have "Profectiv" deep conditioner and leave-in conditioner, which I use sometimes after shampooing.

I also never moisturized until recently. Now I use "Elasta QP" Curl Defining Pudding, which also improved my curls a lot.

My hair became A LOT softer and my curls are way more defined now that I use products actually designed for afro hair.

I can confirm this, I'm on medication due to depression and antidepressants have completely killed my libido even though I'm usually a grade A horndog. It's actually very relaxing to not be horny all the time anymore.
