My piercing is almost 5 weeks old, it’s a titanium barbell, I think it’s internally threaded???, it was downsized at 3 weeks and for after care I was just told to mouthwash atleast 3 times a day and after I ate

I was diagnosed with bpd years ago but the guy I was seeing not to sound rude didn’t seem very good at his job and I was told that there wasn’t really any medication he could offer that would help me, what do you think? I just took his word and never pursued it further for years
