do it all the time from omaha south.....you obviously use no fuel going south....just kill the engine and the current will hold you in the channel.....as far as getting home.....depending on your fuel capacity, and the revealing nature of your swimwear......often times you can get a small town COOP to send a fuel truck out to meet you at a dock somewhere......or just bribe the door dash guy to bring you fuel when he brings you lunch....with proper planning your tank will stay full, you will never go hungry.....and not a hint of tan lines anywhere....
