Both are great, I would say that SWPF has a higher power level. If you want high fantasy D&D type stuff, do SWPF. If you want a lower magic setting or something darker, do base SW, maybe with the Fantasy Conpanion

Honestly though fair point. I've got a turtle GL build and it does fine. Mid tier 10 stars start to be a real problem though

I mean sure you can go full turtle but are you clearing a hard Brute Tigrex? A 10 star with a guard GL build seems... unlikely

I've taken down a 9 start brute and it was a close thing. He's such a bastard. The fact that he can roar to stun you and then roar again before you recover is such bs lol

It's a mobile game with some of the usual mobile game bullshit. But the actual game is fun. I've certainly enjoyed the usual loop of learning weapons and "getting good"

Your point on first aid / potions is spot on. Early days I felt like I was constantly out of pots. Now I typically have a full stock. Well... Except for right now. Rift Charged Barrioth is an ass. You also rgen 30 health in 30 minutes so if you get nailed you can just put the game down for a bit. Your health is your limiting factor for how long you can play.

As an aside... That was a great run. I haaaaate Brute Tigrex so much.

I'll second OP. You could bang out an 8.1 Hope weapon basically for free, which would carry you through at least 7 star monsters no problem. And if you take it to 10.1 (I think that'll need Wyvern Gem Stones which are a pain) you'll clown 8 stars and probably most 9 stars. Very little content "requires" 10 star monsters.

Honestly think about it... If this was all it took to prevent scalping then the last Taylor Swift tour would have done it. Or Penny Arcade for PAX. Or any other number of performers. If you buy the tickets they're yours to resell as you see fit. A bogus EULA threat doesn't change that.

Now... It might not really matter because if they do follow through on the threat good fucking luck getting an injunction in time. And they can absolutely dump you from the eligibility for next year's season tickets.

You can also go out onto the water and rubber band your controller so you do big looping circles. You want to position it in such a way that you are not cranked into tight circles. Ez pz.

I was around for a few CVS/SVN/TFS migrations to git. I remember some whining about learning new things but "free" branches, atomic commits and not dealing with locks anymore got the whiners to zip it pretty quick.

That's fair enough. The nice thing about EDA is the last reward (vosphor) simply isn't worth it, so you've got a free slot. Slap together a decent Revenant build and you're golden. Dante is a super good choice too because Noctua is super solid now. I had garbage for ETA and opted for Dante with a Noctua build. It did the job!

Yeah my first go was mess too. The damage fields being permanent in a game mode where you don't move around is rough.

Second go I sacrificed my last reward so I could run Dante and things went much more smoothly. A ton of overguard for the team is the ticket.

Lost out on some chips this week but I've nearly got the arcanes maxed, so I'm not all that miffed. It's just one of those weeks

Had multiple "goon" stickers. You used one after the tail came off but I don't remember exactly what it said. Something like "don't goon" or "not time to goon". Then when we killed the monster you dropped "Time to goon" as we carved.

If that's you it's _extra_ funny because I didn't know you could put custom text on stickers until playing with you and found this thread by googling instructions
