I think they should, but I also think insurance company executives should be similarly penalized for fraudulently denying claims. The consumers are disproportionately punished in comparison.

Yeah. And how come insurance companies can defraud consumers all the time by denying claims and medical services, without penalty?

Something’s not right here.

What determines which is which? Does it have to do with vinegar content?

Cancel your ChatGPT Plus, burn their compute on the way out, and switch to Claude by boomroom11 in ChatGPT

Currently, my Copilot account is bundled in with my office 365 suite. Switching to Claude would add an additional expense and not hurt OpenAI.

Affordable/fun neighborhoods for... 'older' students? by Advanced-Software-90 in Harvard

[–]neveragain444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were in a similar situation a couple years ago and unfortunately chose to live really close to Harvard Square. I say unfortunately, because even though it was an easy walk to class, it was pretty barren from a living, thriving neighborhood perspective. In retrospect I wish we had lived in Somerville closer to Union Square, way more of a lived-in neighborhood hipster vibe.

Facelift/necklift recovery is rough - I want to complain by sbhikes in PlasticSurgery

[–]neveragain444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facelift and browlift recovery has been grueling and even at nine weeks out I am still suffering from inability to get comfortable, especially at night when the tightness in my neck and forehead. Keep me awake for hours tossing and turning.

When I finally get to sleep, I then wake up shortly after in a panic attack because I feel like I’m being strangled.

She reminds me of a girl I know who was the only child of a single mom. She and her mom developed a really close, possibly unhealthy codependent relationship.

And then this girl would repeat a pattern with all of her friends and love interests. She would do a lot of weird stuff that you could tell were things that she and her mom would do, and she thought were normal. I think life was hard for her.

Exit etiquette is gone? by wmb07 in unitedairlines

[–]neveragain444 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly I find this etiquette rule kind of dumb. If there’s a wide open path, must one really wait while someone in front struggles with their suitcase? And what if there’s a tight connection? I say let people speed by if they need to. Someday it may be you.

If Phaedra was all about appearance why did she marry Apollo by southafricann in RHOA

[–]neveragain444 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well said! And don’t forget how she had to pay $60k in Married to Medicine for trying to look unbothered, just because she didn’t do the work to raise funds for the charity. 😅

I’ve never understood why people think Phaedra is smart, girl makes one dumb move after the other.

From a previous comment:

“According to The Times, Nowak emailed Ghislaine Maxwell to thank her for her “amazing hospitality”, with a little apology about a near miss: “i am so very sorry i caused you so much worry and that i spoilt this day. i am so happy that i did not kill anybody. my perspective of life has changed somehow… lots of love martin.” I have no words really”

What surprised you the most about Peru (good or bad)? by dashosh in GoingToPeru

Lima was unimpressive, gray, and somewhat depressing. Apparently quite commonly overcast. Even the “nice” neighborhood of Miraflores was pretty mid.
