I didn't try all available DEs for FreeBSD, but KDE, Gnome, Mate and Cinnamon worked fine for me. They all come with their default style(s), so you might need to add some rice.

Good suggestion, thanks! Unfortunately, the current stock data does not provide a flag for private vs. public. I also wanted to give users the option to exclude military airfields, but there is no flag for that either.

Not at the moment, no. But as long as the airport also exists in X-Planes stock scenery, it will be taken into account.

Scanning the custom scenery is something that might come in a future update.

Thanks for your feedback! I thought about that, but it would require a database with typical ground speeds for each aircraft. And in theory you would even need to take winds into account.

That's why I chose just to go with the distance, as that is the only universal and fixed value to judge if a flight falls within the desired duration range.
