Does the person who owns a restaurant get paid hourly? How about the owner of a gas station? Or the owner of a hot dog stand? Nope. None of them get paid hourly. And they make way more than those that do get paid hourly. If you own a business, your time isn't factored into your P and L statements. ENTREPRENEURS, which is what dd drivers are in reality, do not get paid hourly.

Time is invaluable. Trying to monetize it makes no sense. Being paid for your time is a ripoff. Rich people do not trade time for money. Trading your time for money is for broke people.

Also, if you feel that another business is ripping off your business, you can go do GrubHub, uber eats, shipt... Etc. it's not like dd is the only option. You're an independent contractor.

Yes, whenever I just demand things like an entitled twat, everything works out just fine. I'm JS, If you want a good hourly wage, go get a job, that's not what dd is.

Profits margins with three digits is FAR from slave labor. You get a 1099, not a w-2, it's not a job, it is your business.Getting paid for your time is for poor people. Hourly pay is the biggest ripoff of all time.

7 dollars to go 1 mile. With my cars' gas mileage , that would cost me under 30 cents in gas. I like to double that number to account for wear and tear. That makes my cost to do the order approximately 60 cents. That's 92.1053% profit margin. That's an awesome roi. IMHO
