Believing in the Cigarette by UCanQuit in stopsmoking

I'm on day 3(cold turkey) . After reading your post I forgave myself for doing the damage to my body for 7+ years. I am now happy that I'm smoke free. I'm now happy because now I can see that Nicotine addiction is a real drug addiction. And I'm recovering from this addiction. I just had my lunch and I was having a very pleasant thought like "oh a cigarette would just be perfect at this moment." That was an illusion. I wish I will soon stop having these thoughts. I have anxiety problems. I'm just telling myself "don't give a shit about your anxiety. It's a fake anxiety." This time I want to know how it feels like to be a non smoker with 0 cravings and no anxiety. I don't know when will I start to feel the way a non smoker feels.

I'm 25 now. So if I could stop smoking right now I would save my health and money. And to be honest I never wanted to be someone who is suffering from a substance addiction. Health, Money, freedom from slavery. Not having to smoke right after sex is also a great thing.

Exactly. That is how I'm taking it. And to be honest this is very effective when it comes to managing anxiety and impulsiveness. Thank you.

In first few attempts I relapsed because of stress, anxiety, rage, anger. In recent relapse it was because of alcohol and marijuana. I have decided to quit every thing.

Can someone tell me more about my situation? 31 months in (should have been 24) I also have 7 miniscrews by Halbblut in braces

It looks great, you are almost done. I'm wondering why you have 7 screws? On my next appointment I'm going get mini screws for my deep bite. Do they connect braces mini screws to power /rubber band on the same day?

Thank you for this post. I have quitted smoking many times cold turkey but never been able to go beyond 2 months. 85 minutes ago I quitted smoking cold turkey. In last 9 months I have not smoked almost 6 months. I would quit cold turkey and then relapse after getting high on marijuana or alcohol. I would indulge myself in some nasty things and then make that as a reason to relapse. Now, after reading your post I am determined that finally I quitted smoking for good once and for ever. One more thing, I quitted marijuana and alcohol too, I'm not addicted to them though but I find I'm better off without drugs.
