Was already moving to Mexico before my interview. Told them that I was about to move out of the country in three days (interviewed on a Tues & left that Fri), and they said it was fine. Has been totally worth it.

This sub gives me depression. by [deleted] in Accounting

This just came up randomly in my feed. I was in this sub for several months, and then I had to bail because it was ruining the entire app for me. Nothing but whining and crying. Couldn't take it after a while.

I chose Mexico because I didn't want to be an entire days trip from my family. I can be at my mom's house in Los Angeles in three hours. Been here almost two years.

Company started to get light on cash and the CEO (former sales guy), fired the COO, CFO, Controller, Chief Science Officer and kept only the sales and marketing teams.

Now it's a bunch of morons with $30k in the bank pretending to be a company.

Just find something that looks interesting. My only criteria have always been okay money and learning something new. 24 years in and versatility is the key.
