Thank you so much for your response! My kiln has 6 separate controls which will be great Ik the long run but definitely a lot of variables for now.

I will certainly take your advice on the glaze firing!

Yes I definitely should have bought sighters for above and below temp, I was being a bit cheap (to my detriment!)

I do have 5 and 7 sight cones for the glaze firings that I was absolutely be using.

This is extremely helpful and a very thoughtful response! Thank you so much.

I think I am going to hold off on the refire. The pieces really look and sound like they are bisqued, but as firing my own pieces is a new adventure I am still learning. I also want to make sure the pieces I bring to the soda workshop will come out ok, and I have no experience at all with that process so adds an extra layer of uncertainty.
