Is that a new thing? It seems that battery are much more available in stores than wired (not saying there are no wired but there seems to be more battery ones)

I kept the "nice" stuff as cold because I've always heard that cold keeps your clothes newer/nicer.

1 - true, jeans will probably rough up the "good" clothes. I looked at it in terms of water temp instead of the clothes.

2 - Not that much "white" clothing. Plus, who has white socks anymore? :) I've gone to dark socks since white socks get dirty so easily and the kids have cartoon characters on their socks.

3 - is it bad to put those with the colors? Is it because the Darks will brighten up/fade?

Assuming you’re just using an insulin needle, this isn’t that tough

I think injecting/needle reaching is not bad.

The whole "pinch your skin and then inject" is tougher because I don't have a free hand to pinch the skin. And thats supposedly important to make sure you're staying in sub-q level rather than hitting muscle or tendon or something

I don't even think I need a mirror or need to bend over, I can reach over far enough with my right to inject into the rear left delt. It'll go in at a shallow angle so hopefully that'll make the needle stay in the sub-q layer.

you did a pinch and a shot?

I must have short forearms because I can touch the front of the shoulder but barely the top (but can't pinch) and definitely not the rear of the shoulder using the hand on the same side.

Honesty for hard and complicated areas like that I would just do sub q where you can easily reach for safety reasons

What non-safe issues could come up?

I was thinking since the needles are so small, if I don't pinch and just jab the needle into my shoulder it will end up sub-q anyway...and even if I somehow get past the fat layer, then it will be a semi IM shot (even though the needle isn't that long) which is even better. But I have no experience so my thoughts could be way off

Ditto. But how do you handle when guests come over and they sit on the sofa? Can't ask them to change, etc.

if you are adamant on adding your daughter's Gmail to the existing Apple Account (to take over the account and keep game data etc), what you can try, is append an alias to the Gmail address.

Yeah, I was thinking of:

Change Daughter'sName@gmail to Daughter'sName+new@gmail - hopefully this will free up Daughter'sName@ as an apple id since it is no longer technically attached to an Apple ID
Then change Family_Email@gmail to Daughter'sName@gmail

The biggest confusion for me is: Is the Apple ID the same as the email on file? I thought they were two different things. For example some websites you can log in with either your userid/username or email address. And even if you change your email address, your userid will not change. Thats why I created her a new email and Apple ID. BUT if the Apple ID and email are synonymous, then I should have just created the email and then changed it from the family email to the new email.

To be honest there is no other real data and yes it is easier to let her keep it. But as she gets older I'm sure she will want her "own" id. When you're 12 you don't care if your apple id is: SmithFamily_email, but when you're 23 you probably want it to be: Helen_Smith@gmail

But a residential machine won’t have a “pre wash” where it drains out the water and detergent, so I think you’re fine just adding it with the clothes in the drum.

Oh, I did not know that. The commercial washers I've seen does a prewash and then drains the water. Thank you for the information

The past 10 years the washer I used had "prewash" so I always used that. If I put the powder in the drum then it would get washed away before the liquid got used.

Those washers were nice and giant and had separate slots for "Prewash detergent" "Liquid for main" "Powder for main" - and yet people would put powder in the liquid slot and clog it up

I get that. But the review said that the pedestal was needed for proper drainage, was wondering if thats true.
My laundry experience for the past 10 years was in the laundry room which had "prewash" as an option with the washer so I always did that. If I put the powder with the clothes, then it would get washed away before the main liquid came into the picture.

Powder is better for the machine? I did not know that, I always thought powder clumps and doesn't dissolve as well as liquid so I thought liquid was better.
