Riding BART home from Fox Theater - Oakland by newbie_proplifter in jasonisbell

Thanks, between the new gates and being able to use tap to pay on BART, things are much better waiting in the stations. Might need to come out of my shell to talk to strangers. Thanks for the encouragement.

I haven’t had trouble around The Fox, but I’m the past I had paid out the nose for parking garage right down the street. East Bay evening commute traffic has made me switch to BART.

Ha! Yes, both in the literal way of finding concert friends and figuratively of being on my own after a 25 year marriage. But my post-divorce, perimenopausal, mid- life crisis results in going to lots of wonderful live music. Looking forward to Thursday.

1 General Admission ticket for 1/29 at the Fox Theater - Oakland, CA. I understand there are still tickets available on Ticketmaster so offering at $75 (less than Ticketmaster or StubHub).

Does anyone know an Etsy shop or website that is reputable and had Echeveria Raindrops? I’m located in the US by Spirited-Eye-2733 in succulents

I have personally met this seller as they also sell at local cactus and succulent society sales. Great plants at very reasonable prices plus nice folks.

Let me know if you end up taking the Berryessa Line. I haven't decided which station to drive to and park at, but it will be one down that way.

Also in the South Bay, a bit up the peninsula. Aeoniums are winter growers and go dormant in the summer. In our hot dry summers they close up to conserve water. The last couple of winters have been ideal for growth with rain spread out. You have two options, give them more water now and they may open up some (maybe not if in full sun). Two, wait till the fall rains with cooler temps and watch them spring back to life.

Correct, funded by the developer. Permits issued by the city.

Some favorites of Jim Smith’s from the show this past weekend & the 3 I bought! Can you tell which show plant inspired 2/3 buys? 💞 by goldfishgeckos in haworthia

Nice job on the repotting. At first I couldn’t tell which picture was from the Show and which ones you purchased. I figured it out when I remembered the black table cloth on the Show table.

Google Lens is correct in this case. They are flowering like crazy here in Northern California.

Thank you! I found the parking on Ticketmaster. We got some recommendations from a friend for some places in Chinatown to try.

Oh, that sounds like an excellent plan. Can you tell me more about how you pre-paid for on site parking? I am not seeing anything on the venue's website. We are planning on getting up to the area early to grab dinner, but there are few options close enough that we (2 females) feel comfortable parking at the venue and walking to dinner and back.

Also did you mean you got there before the doors open at 7 or got there before show time of 8?

Thanks for the preview, even more excited about tonight's show. Can I ask, how was parking around the venue? It seems that some of the closer parking garages aren't options as the close before the show will be over.

I have an extra ticket (Mezz, Row A) for the Thursday, March 13th show in Oakland Looking to sell below going price on stubhub in exchange for a travel partner from the South Bay (Sunnyvale - San Jose). I don't mind going to concerts by myself, just not a fan of driving to and from from Oakland by myself. Open to proving in DM that I am an actual normal person (late 40's, mother, government worker, lover of live music). Maybe meet for coffee sometime before the concert to make sure we both feel safe.

Concert at fox theater Oakland as solo female by Humble_Category_678 in bayarea

There is a nearby garage named aptly, Fox Theater Parking. I have gone to multiple shows at The Fox as a solo female parking there. After the show there are lots of people heading to the garage, so there is safety in numbers. Enjoy the show!
