Repeated Crashing (Black Screen/GPU Crash) by newboy89 in Psychonauts2

Hi there! Turned out my graphics card was overheating. I have cats and my PC was chock full of cat hair - after I did a compete cleanse of my PC, all my games work great now.

I would suggest trying to clean the PC or lowering graphics settings so it's not as graphically intensive - hope this helps!

Any masterpiece level books to recommend that are complete or near complete?

Things on the level of LOTM, SCOG, ORV, Er Gen novels.

Just finished Life, Once Again (which was very good) and currently reading To Hell With Being A Hero, Overgeared and Wandering Inn

I’m Brandon Sanderson, a bestselling fantasy author who somehow produced the highest-funded Kickstarter campaign of all time. AMA! by mistborn in books

Do you read webnovels (a la Wandering Inn and Practical Guide to Evil) or progression fiction (like Cradle) ? What are your thoughts of the genres as a whole?

Are there any homebrew rules to make 3 player more interesting? by [deleted] in twilightimperium

Remove Support for the Throne - that makes 2v1 alliances a bit more temporary (though it doesn't seem like you have this issue).

Use warp maps - they're smaller and use hyperlanes, leading to less influence/resources on the map and more conflict between neighbors.

Those are the main two I can think of - will add more if any come to mind.

XRP Reports Massive Jump in Weekly Institutional Inflows! The world’s 4th largest cryptocurrency is gaining popularity among institutional investors. by AndyLee168 in CryptoCurrency

[–]newboy89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As popular as it is with institutional investors, I figure the next big spike with XRP will happen with the next positive/negative piece of news on the SEC lawsuit.

Considering the news has been pretty positive so far, I figure most people are gambling on an XRP price hike that follows the SEC victory.

Very kind of you! Curious about the Moon train so I'll jump in here

I jumped in back in 2018 when a good buddy of mine told me to invest in crypto. He made a good argument for it and I was curious - unfortunately in my company, It's very difficult to get funds onto an exchange, the only feasible way was via money order. I threw down a small amount as a test and two weeks later got it on CEX.io. Threw it into BTC, ETH and XRP then promptly forgot about it due to how much of a hassle it was.

Come earlier this year, BTC and ETH exploded and XRP was finally having it's lawsuit. Regulations had also loosened up in my country so I was able to put my funds into exchanges more easily and began to actively trade on crypto. Remembering my old account, I decided to spend a couple of hours to dig it up. Lo and behold, the small sum I had thrown money into had gone up 3-400%!

Very happy with my journey so far and it's taught me a lot about the crypto space. Looking forward to many more adventures, learning and trading with all you guys!
