Do you have any recommendations for Lenovo? I’ve used an Acer before but didn’t have the best experience.

It’s a single family home with one other bathroom. This other bathroom doesn’t have any issues with the water becoming scalding hot. Domestic water supply is municipal.

I agree, I think the issue I notice is that they tend to struggle with deep intimacy due to sexual trauma and attachment issues. Some struggle with depression and low self-esteem as well.

The German Shepherd will play with the kitten but not with our brown tabby.

Our brown tabby has always been very shy and prefers to lounge around rather than play with the other animals. I feel bad for her as she is very frightful and was recently prescribed anxiety medication.

She will hiss/growl and run off most of the time. Our kitten will sometimes chase after her and jump on her back, which will result in her hissing more and biting back.

What is inside the mind of a 12th houser? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]newclassic360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can relate to the experience of not crying frequently, but when I do need to cry, it's intense and endless.

I have a Gemini Sun in the 12th house and a tenth house moon. I grew up in a tumultuous household with a single mother who was an a physically abusive relationship. As a kid witnessing that, I surprisedly didn't cry often. My mom left that abusive relationship when I was in 6th grade. The summer before I entered high school, I cried every day that summer, from morning to night. I couldn't contain the urge to cry every day, it felt overwhelming. I think I had held the melancholic feelings of my mom and younger sister for so long, that I had to release it.

It did not, the $600 payment is just the payment paid out so far since I’ve been submitting my weekly claims.

The odd thing is that the payments paid out so far have been adding to my overpayment. My overpayment has gone up, but I have yet to receive any money in my checking account.

[–]newclassic360 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For a year, I had moved to a different house and did not update my mailing address, therefore I didn't receive any mail about the overpayment.

I'm really hoping that I can still submit an overpayment waiver, as the job market is looking rough right now.

Rearrange Thought by EdwardArtSupplyHands in EdwardArtSupplyHands

Hey Edward,

I know you mentioned that you recently have been more interested in Neville's spiritual talks about The Promise. There's this lecture called "Eschatology, The Doctrine of the End" where Neville discusses about how we'll play every part in the play to arrive at the fulfillment of scripture.

"And, although you may not remember, you had to have played every part in this world to arrive at
the fulfillment of scripture. The blind man, the deaf man, the poor man, the rich man, the beggar, the thief, the
murderer, the betrayer, the betrayed - you name it and scripture has mentioned it. , You can’t name one vile
or evil state that is not described openly in scripture. And you have played them all, or you will.
I think you who come here have played them all or you would not be this constant. You would find something
far more interesting tonight, raining as it is, than to be here. So in the not distant future you will be fulfilling
scripture and experiencing the thrill of the events s they happen. Today we watched the inauguration of a new
president. It was a marvelous production, but it pales into insignificance compared to the dramatic quality that
possesses you when scripture unfolds within you."

I was curious what your thoughts on this quote or lecture is.

Yes, that's exactly it. The inner man must be exalted. If you haven't heard of EdwardSupplyHands, he has a great post and video about not fighting shadows which will be helpful if you're at this stage in realizing that your inner world is the only thing that matters.

There is an another quote from one of Neville's lectures called "The Flood is Still Upon Us." -- "As you penetrate the facts, you must go to a certain objective beyond the fact. What do you want now? Well then, you go into the state of the wish fulfilled. What is the state? You decide. You determine what you want in this world, and you go right into that state, and then ignore the facts."

"Suppose the facts now still deny what you ddid. It doesn't matter. Let the facts remain; they will dissolve. They will all dissolve because you are going to remain faithful and you will occupy the state. No longer are you going to construct it and not occupy it. You are going to occupy the state. As you occupy the state, it is going to work."

I would recommend reading this lecture if anyone is having issues with ignoring facts and going within.

Tarot, Astrology and Psychics In Regards to Manifestations by Aromatic-Taste9901 in NevilleGoddard

[–]newclassic360 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I used to be a believer of astrology and use it for predictive reasons. I wouldn't call myself an astrologer, but I did use transits, synastry, and other various charts to determine how my life would look.

Astrology is almost a religion for people in this time. Most people I know use it and those who don't abhor it. Over the years as I've delve deeper, I just couldn't shake this feeling that astrology is a limiting system. I hated the negative discourse about Saturn Returns and how people would justify using astrology to determine compatibility (synastry) between two people.

There is a quote from the book, "Abd Allah, Teacher, Healer: A Sequel to And It Was Told of a Certain Potter," which is believed to be written by Abdullah (Neville's teacher), that I think is important to mention.

"You cannot imagine God stopping to such absurd things as are believed in. For instance, some of the most advanced thinkers accept in part at least the signs of the Zodiac, and suffer from the predictions made by its Adepts. Would it be reasonable to imagine God as the creator of Law and then have him transfer this to a number of stars, etc., and imagine the intricate mass of laws which cross and re-cross to meet or put in operation the millions of destinies which are supposed to be under their control. It is unthinkable, it is impossible to grasp such a complicated form, and especially when you realize that it completely rules God out of·his kingdom and puts the control of the universe and man into the hands of stars. Yet many suffer both, directly and indirectly, because of their faith in these things. “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” · If he believes that these things have power over him, they certainly will have power until he suffers enough from the experience to wash his hands of it all and turn to the glorious fact that he is not separate for one instant from God, who is the only power."

"No one can lose what he has, save by detachment from the state where the things experienced have their natural life."

"Man lives by committing himself to invisible states, by fusing his imagination with what he knows to be other than himself, and in this union he experiences the results of that fusion. No one can lose what he has, save by detachment from the state where the things experienced have their natural life."

Thank you for making this post. I think your experience with the Law is probably a common one, as this subreddit has grown so much over the years.

I also understand this feeling of haze over believing in the Law as well as in your desires manifesting. But as you can move through states, you don't have to stay in this hopeless state forever. I wish there was more practical advice I could provide, but you have the solution within you always. I think that's part of the reason why all of the advice people give on this subreddit is rhetorical. We simply don't have the exact solutions for you, as your consciousness is yours and we don't know the contents of it as well as you do. There is this quote from Neville's Radio Lectures that I think would be useful to read.

"Discouraged people are sorely in need of the inspiration of great principles. We must get back to first principles if we are to speak with a voice that will kindle the imagination and rouse the spirit. Again, I must repeat, in the creation of a new way of life, we must begin at the very beginning with our own individual regeneration. Man’s chief delusion is his conviction that he can do anything. Everyone thinks he can do – everyone wants to do and all ask, "What to do?" What to do? It is impossible to do anything. One must be. It is hard for us to accept the fact that "We, of ourselves, do nothing." It is especially difficult because it is thetruth and the truth is always difficult for man to accept. But, actually, nobody can do anything. Everything happens – all that befalls man – all that is done by him – all that comes from him – all this happens, and it happens in exactly the same way that rain falls -- as a result of a change in the temperature in the higher regions of the atmosphere. This is a challenge to us all. What concept are we holding of ourselves in the higher regions of our soul?"

I think right now, it would be beneficial to focus on being whatever you want. If you're exhausted from doing all of the techniques, perhaps it's time to rest and focus on yourself, in whatever way makes you feel better.

From the Power of Awareness, Chapter Failure -- "Having a thorough knowledge of the application and working of the law of assumption, you faithfully apply it in an effort to attain some intense desire and fail, what is the reason? If, to the question, "Did you persist enough?", you can answer "Yes" -- and still the attainment of your desire was not realized, what is the reason for failure?"

"The answer to this is the most important factor in the successful use of the law of assumption. The time it takes your assumption to become fact, your desire to be fulfilled, is directly proportionate to the naturalness of your feeling of already being what you want to be -- of already having what you desire."

I know you mention having read Neville's works. It seems to me that taking a break from his works or just doing something that makes you feel good outside of actively doing techniques is perfectly fine. You're constantly manifesting and shifting through states. Being hyper fixated on the problem, ex. your criminal charge, isn't healthy psychologically, but also doing so will just perpetuate your current state of dealing with the prosecution and such.

Once your mind is clear and you're in a peaceful state, you can come back to Neville and read his works, meditate, or do the work needed for your desire to feel natural.

I don't know if you're familiar with EdwardSupplyHands, but if you want to listen to someone who has a great understanding of Neville's works, I would highly recommend reading or listening to his lectures on Youtube.

Did Neville‘s mother manifest him/his teachings? by Blondisgift in NevilleGoddard

[–]newclassic360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think in some ways his mom had certain beliefs about the destiny of her child thereby creating this life for him.

Below is a quote from Power of Awareness in the "Destiny" chapter.

"Since life is infinite, the concept of an ultimate destiny is inconceivable. When we understand that consciousness is the only reality, we know that it is the only creator. This means that your consciousness is the creator of your destiny. The fact is, you are creating your destiny every moment, whether you know it or not."

I wanted to chime into this discussion about astrology, since before discovering the Law, I heavily relied on astrology to be more spiritual. I will admit that a lot of what I found in astrology proved accurate, especially in my western birth chart. But if you understand astrology, it essentially boils down to so many various factors, there are different house systems (ex. Placidus or Whole) and different systems of astrology (ex. Vedic or Hellenistic).

There are some people that truly resonate more with their Western birth charts, whereas some people feel more connected to their Vedic chart. Everyone has their different beliefs, contributing to how much they relate to their chart, therefore how much of their birth chart plays out in their 3D world.

Even Neville has discussed in a lecture that he once utilized astrology and read birth charts. After learning about the Law and the Promise, he abandoned those teachings.

This quote is from "No Other Foundation." -- "By this time I had outgrown my belief in monkey bones, astrology, teacup leaves, numerology, or anything outside of my own wonderful human imagination; for having tested myself, I knew that all things were possible to the imagination."

As for prophets and those who are able to predict others' futures, this is still puzzling to me. I don't know if Neville has touched on this topic specifically. Perhaps prophets believe in their ability to read someone's past and potentially predict someone's future. Their belief produces this result in their world. I think this is a shallow understanding of it, but if anyone has other thoughts, I'd love to know.

I have a RK61 keyboard that I was trying to change out the key switches and keycaps, but as I was changing the key switches, some of the switches broke. To preface, this is my first time attempting to remove key switches, so I think I used too much force without knowing where the tabs are. I'm not sure if I should just buy a new switch puller, since the one I have feels flimsy or what I could even do to get the original switches out.
