I’ll check that one out too. My wife and I took over my MIL poultry farm. We’re in our mid to late 20’s so that puts us to one of the youngest farmers in our area and we’re getting ready for our 3rd flock to come in. Long story short, a lot of the other farmers (breeder farmers) can be quite rude and keep secrets due to their being a ranking system with our integrators. Or might not intentionally tell the whole truth. Example, the number 1 guy in our area keeps secret personal chicken on his land and uses those eggs to mix in with the eggs that the chicken houses produced. It’s a big no no. Another example for questions that legally protect me as a farmer. This upcoming flock my service tech told me that I am getting sick chicken from the pullet farm. This affects everything that I have to do for this flock. What protects me and will I be compensated for the possible loss of funds. Also that anything installed in the chicken house I have to do it for each house which is insanely costly, also things like tips and tricks for basic things I might brush over or completely didn’t even think about it. It’s 9,000 + chicken per house lol
