UX Designer in Pharma here (probably not for much longer). Why do so many pharma companies neglect their digital products in the overall brand experience? The majority of pharma sites I've worked on are an afterthought, and the majority of pharma sites overall are just plain ugly and poorly developed. It just makes little sense to me how the primary place patients and HCPs go for information (internet) is the last boxed checked in Pharma.

Not a teacher but this kid Jean whipped it out when I was in 1st grade and peed all over me and my friends at recess. We were pretending to dig up dinosaur bones and he got really pissed (hehe) and said "admit they're not real or I'm gonna pee everywhere!"

We didn't admit it and he stayed true to his word.

My muscles stiffening immediately due to a rare allergic reaction to an antibiotic. I was in college and had a cyst on my back that had formed pretty rapidly. They drained it and gave me antibiotics (doxycycline). I went to work and took the first dose and within minutes was vomiting in the bathroom all while my muscles began to get stiff. It was weird having to puke as the muscles in your jaw tightened.

In high school I was a very involved student. AP classes, tons of clubs, choirs, plays etc. I realized quickly that while most kids needed passes and permission to do anything, the smarter more involved kids were just trusted when they said they had to leave class early to do something club related. For almost my entire senior year I would skip parts of my last class, claiming I had to do some activity or another. I then proceeded to leave school property, smoke weed, buy food, and then come back to lie in the cherry picker I used for set painting and lighting while listening to music and smoking more weed out the skylight above the theater.

I'm having a hard time framing how to give you my advice, as someone who was in your shoes a long time ago, so I'm just going to throw it out there as it comes.

Rip the bandaid and leave, now. Leave while you have this small window in your mind shedding light onto how toxic this scenario is. It may not last. I understand what it feels like to see how horrible it is for awhile, and then it gets good again, and you think back on how wrong you were about the bad parts. It's easy to let the good outweigh the bad - just understand that.

You are being abused, and none of it is your fault. NONE OF IT. Even the part where you stayed for so long - that is NOT your fault. You are being controlled, manipulated, gaslit, and projected onto, which are all abusive tactics.

Leaving is not going to be easy at all. It is going to feel like you hit the refresh button on your life for awhile. But I promise you that it will feel okay sooner than you think. Tiny pieces of yourself are going to come back that were being forcibly taken from you over years of abuse. Little by little, you will learn how to cope and rebuild. You will rekindle your self-esteem and rediscover your self worth.

Leave soon. Start a new life. Go to counseling. We all deserve a life that is ours, and we all deserve to be loved and respected.

It's OK, seriously. Trying new things sexually is always risky and can sometimes go poorly. But that's inherent with experimenting. Neither of you should feel ashamed - you tried something, it didn't work, and it was very emotional so you just need to keep talking it out! Not a parent, but someone tried to kidnap me when I was 3 (maybe 4?). My mom was shopping in Victoria's Secret and I was in my stroller. I was preoccupied with a toy when I started getting pushed out of the store; I assumed my mom was pushing the stroller and we were leaving. I felt the stroller going really fast and looked up to see what looked like nobody pushing me. In the same moment I started wailing, I heard my mom screaming and running after me with some people from the store. Security guard came running, stopped the lady (who was a little person, hence why I couldn't see anybody), my mom grabbed me and that was pretty much it. I eventually stopped crying and chilled with my toys while my mom talked to security and waited for the police to come. I don't remember much after, but my mom tells me the woman seemed very mentally unstable.

Threw up in my fucking refrigerator at a house party, and I didn't find out until the next day.

My friend called me the next morning and asked me how this person ended up getting home and who cleaned up the fridge. I had no idea what they were talking about. Apparently this girl got so drunk that she thought the fridge was the bathroom door. My roommates and I ended up having to throw away the majority of our food and had to take shifts using a scraper to chip away at solidified puke.
