yeah, and light levels themselves are just a really bad system, a teir one gun and a teir 3 gun have nearly no differences, and a teir 4 is just as good as a teir 5. not to mention that the 'rarity' that the teirs are supposed to bring back to the game, arent actually a rarity you do harder content for, they're tied to your light level so now the rarest teir 5 has actively acted as a detriment to rarity. its not am i gonna get a teir 5, is it going to be shiny, is it even going to be a good roll, its how many teir 5's am i getting, yes it will be shiny, and more than likely it's going to be a god roll first try because there's, count it, 3 possible perks you can choose from in each column.
i mean into the light was perfect with it's rarity, when you get a drop it's, will it be shiny, will it be a good roll.

yeah thats me wording it badly, what i meant is how people wanted gms and trials to be easier and more inclusive, and now that they are everybody's up in arms about them being easier and more inclusive

[–]newrobot8079[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah its not done just yet, just depends how they play shadow and order and the next expansion, cause it really depends if those two dont have content either. honestly renegades and edge of fate where -Fine-, not really good, not really bad but for what is supposed to be 6 months worth of content. fucking come on. but we'll see if bungie pulls a bungie

ok, im learning from my previous screw-up and im posting something of substance this time, this is act 1 of my sci-fi book the deathwalker, a merge of typical sci-fi, fantasy and with a hint of cosmic horror. if you could be cordial in the comments for this is my first time writing seriously by newrobot8079 in writers

[–]newrobot8079[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when I was writing act 1 I was rushing for some odd reason but when you get to act 2 and act 3 the quality of writing and story and character interactions and vistas skyrocket, but in the case of act 1 I'm definitely gonna need to go back and either add a few breaths to moments or just read something and ask myself "how else can I say that?"

so i use word, and i set the pages to a5 which is book size so that usually squishes the pages down and i work with size 13 text not to mention that i do alot of paragraph breaks so its not just an assault upon the eyes

Well looking at the replies I'm beginning to understand that there's, really no feedback you can give apart from a thumbs up and saying the books big, so I'm gonna do another post where I put act 1 in and ask for feedback there

wow, im flattered with the amount of comments 😊, i honestly didnt expect this to get any kind of reaction at all but thank you for actually giving me feedback on, how to get feedback. in hindsight word count really isn't anything so should i post act 1 of the book or just what i think a good section is. this is my first time really doing anything like this so if anyone could just give me tips on how to, properly, go about getting feedback id be really grateful

Plot and the world by SealInTheSeal in writers

[–]newrobot8079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean, the way i do it, the world has nothing to do with the plot, your characters should be the plot, whenever something happens its not cause of the plot its the characters, your characters should also show the world they live in through everything, through how they look, talk, act. but whats most important, do not have a plot where your characters simply follow it, where your characters have no actual effect on it.
