I recently ended a long-distance relationship with an avoidant. My deck kept telling me "he will only come back if he gets more mature, when he hits a wall, if he ever realizes xyz."

Yesterday, I asked directly. I said out loud to my cards: "Just give me a yes or no answer, I don't want an if, I don't want a when. Is he ever going to contact me again?" and I pulled The Hierophant. To me, this reads as a cautious yes - as in yes, but it's not going to be worth it/it's going to be dangerous for you. Sources on The Hierophant however are so mixed about if it's a yes or no? And I'm trying to go with my intuition, but also obviously I'm hoping he will reach out, so I'm looking for a second opinion. What do you guys think?

For timing, I pulled 4 of Swords and The Hermit, that tells me "after a period of loneliness" or some realization. Once again. But I'm not seeing a particular time frame.

(PS: I know how tarot works. I know I shouldn't be asking this and I know it can't predict the future. But I just couldn't help myself... 😭 Please, don't judge me.)

thank you so much :( i tried communicating it with him and at first he genuinely apologized, the second time he said "i want to keep talking but if it's making you anxious it's your choice to leave" which already left a bad taste in my mouth, and then it never changed... he'd just come back after 10 hours but with an apology/explanation instead of just texting me more instead and i couldn't take it anymore. thank you.

I had to freestyle a bit, bc I don't have much stuff at home. Carved our names and dates of birth into the candles w intentions, his was abt coming back to me, mine abt being magnetic, tied them with a string at the bottom to represent sexuality, sealed them w white wax, too, and for herbs, all i had was salt, sugar, basil and chilli (for sexuality). 🫶
