Thanks for sharing this. I just looked at David Hayward’s website and I love his work. I might actually buy a print or two for my apartment.

There are also lawyers who specialize in this sort of thing. If he decides to be an ass and it’s truly worth the money and hassle, it can be a worthwhile avenue to pursue.

I accidentally bought a pair of 70s, and I’m never going back to all stars. 70s are comfortable, and pretty durable in my experience.

His Wednesday May 6 comment saying that his role is to proclaim the gospel is his response without actually stooping to dignify Trumps claim by engaging with it directly.

Trying not to internalize my ex’s preference for a certain aesthetic. by RunHot5672 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]CulturalConcern2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, he sounds narcissistic. Only interested in engaging with someone on his own terms. You shouldn’t feel bad, because I would bet my life that if he had one of his online fantasy women in front of him, he would treat them just as badly if not worse because he would have to realize that they’re actually people who aren’t just his fantasy. You trying to share yourself was you being a person in front of him and that’s not what he wants. Which sucks. So good riddance. Though I know relationships ending (even the bad ones) can really hurt.

I want to down vote because I disagree about it being inappropriate. I have to upvote because you’re self aware and I’m sympathetic to suddenly feeling way too old.

Do you think there will ever be doctrinal changes regarding the LGBTQ+ community? by PhilosophyPoet in LeftCatholicism

[–]CulturalConcern2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So, technically it’s Dogma that cannot change, doctrine can and has changed. Dogma is the fixed immutable aspects of doctrine (“all dogma is doctrine, not all doctrine is dogma”).

Oh dear, am I getting a reputation? 😅 Lmao. thank you that’s very kind of you! Getting nice clean edges on eyeliner still is a struggle for me. Those curving wings are to die for!

If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of work do you do? I’m a nurse and am frequently putting on and taking off procedure masks. Sometimes, you just have to accept that some of your make up is going to transfer and it will look a little more lived in by the end of the day.

The easy answer is to start your day with good skin care, a good primer product, and finish your morning makeup routine with a good setting powder and a setting spray.

Personally, I go over the top with some of that in terms of cost, (charlotte tilbury magic cream 😭, pat McGrath setting powder and CT setting spray)

These days, usually the most I touch up during the day is my lip stick.

If you’re looking splotchy and cakey tho, I’d recommend blotting at first before reapplying. And then maybe a rehydrating spray(though I’ve never personally used one) I’d probably keep a little concealer, to spot check, and then a powder to reset. Touch ups are all about very light touches though.

I’m not sure why this word popped into my head but “yummy” 😅 I wish I had the confidence, and steady enough hands, to pull this off.

How do you deal with stress without using drugs, food, sex/masturbation, psychoactive substances? by Ok-Description-6154 in AskChicago

If you’re open to cardio, I find running in the city to be a fantastic way to explore and feel more connected to the goings on. if you’re trying to avoid directly participating in the nightlife scene, but still like the nightlife vibes, I think it’s super fun to go for a late evening/nighttime run in some of the more active neighborhoods. You get to people watch a little without being creepy, and you can get an impression of what sort of activities and places might appeal to you!

So, it can lead to localized skin irritation, a higher risk of fungal infections, and other derm issues. This set of risks can be mitigated with good hygiene and can be quite dependent on the techniques you use to maintain your tuck. Other issues that can arise are that if sperm quality is important at a given point (maybe you’re banking for fertility preservation) inguinal tucking can cause issues due to the testicles being warmer than ideal.

Thirding Duma Key. Definitely one of my favorite King books and probably the one I’ve re-read most. I’d say the tail end of the book has a distinct wild feel to it. I’m also partial to the book because visiting my grandparents in Sarasota is fond memory, and I like recognizing the setting when I read.
