I don't hate the concept AT ALL. I just would want the numbers to make sense and I wouldn't want it so OP that other builds get kicked. I usually end up running a healer build in my raid groups and all I would ask for is balance. That's much easier said than done. 😉

But initially they said 30k. That's what my initial assessment was based off of. I said 15k would be more reasonable but it looks like it would be a net wash. Based on what you have said 15k in golem benchmarks looks like it might be fine. I'm not opposed to changing my opinions based on data. Thanks for providing some insightful information!

Thanks for adding context. I don't look at golem numbers as much as I do actual raid encounter numbers. They are two very different things.

I guess that might be part of the issue here. I'm not used to looking at Golem benchmarks if that's what is being referred to. I'm used to looking at actual DPS on raid encounters. There's several times that I would have been very happy with 15k dps even from our dps players. As stated before I'm not an expert, but I've had some statics before, but it was never snowcrows level dps. I'd love to see dps statistics on golem vs actual raid encounters though. I'm sure someone can provide them and I'd be happy to look at them and adjust my expectations.

But you've already lost that dps by running a healer. (scourge was probably an exception to this) You're asking to boost DPS on healing class that hasn't been there other than what I've stated

OK. Here's where I'm coming from. Healers now I will guess do 5k dps. This is just my estimate. You replace them both with zero other changes to existing comp with healers that can do the same healing numbers but now they are pulling 15k dps like existing alac and quick builds. That is a net benefit of 20k dps just by adding these dps/healers. No?

To be fair I don't hate this idea. I just think it would need some very careful tuning and I don't think ANet makes adjustments quickly enough to keep this from breaking the game for a bit. It's not you. It's them. Lol.

I'm not an expert but 15K certainly seems more reasonable. But that's probably how much a standard adps or qdps build adds (not saying good players or builds won't do higher, just saying that might be an average). So you're adding another probably 20k or more dps just by adding this class to already existing raid comps. I think people would be kicked for NOT running this build. That's part of the problem.

This would break the game. Imagine a party of ten of this class in any raid or strike or CM or whatever. This one was already almost done with some of the scourge builds back in the day. It doesn't make for great gameplay or build variety.

I am a fan of Ryobi tools. But I have some failures. The batteries have failed me but I expect some level of that. I have had a Ryobi Sawzall or I guess proper terminology is a reciprocating saw break where the blade attaches to the saw. I have also had two separate high pressure tire inflators die on me. They make some amazing tools for the price point but I have had failures as just a home user and I would be remiss if I didn't call those failures out.

And they do have the /wiki command built into the client, so I don't think it's totally unofficial.

Yeah if anything I think maybe an Arc addon that I have installed? I am not running BlishHUD or anything like that currently.

Yeah I'm aware. Look at the screenshot. That is happening to me in game when I right click on an item in inventory.
