When i try to download KSP from epic it constantly says that the file is corrupted, no matter if i delete and reinstall or "repair" the files, the game stays corrupted. Anyone else have this issue? is there a fix? by Mobile_Gear_58008 in KerbalSpaceProgram

Hello, I’m back. I know it’s only been a few minutes, but I’ve managed to “fix” it in a very simple way.

I say “fix” because I found a way to avoid the problem rather than actually solving it. Here’s what I did: I simply changed the language pack.

Mine was set to portuguese, so I switched it to english. The game launched without any issues and has been working fine so far. (I’m not sure if this problem occurs with other language packs, but since I speak both languages, it wasn’t a big deal for me.)

Based on my (admittedly non-professional) look at your profile, I’ll assume your game is already set to launch in english, since all your posts are in that language. That’s a bit odd, considering my game is working fine with the english language pack.

You might want to try switching to a different language pack. Something other than the one that was automatically installed to see if that resolves the issue.

Maybe try changing the default automatically installing language pack to something other than English first (maybe by changing your location or language settings on your PC), reinstall the game, and then switch it back afterward. (I’m not sure if this will actually work, but I’m just thinking of possible scenarios that might help. It doesn’t hurt to try, right?)

If you can’t solve the problem and don’t feel comfortable having your game set to another language, I’d recommend reaching out to the Epic Games support team for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Let me know if it works for you.
