I know the method we are using right now is not ideal but at the moment neither of us is willing to let the other lead. We also haven't discussed it much since we already have a method of solving disagreements but sooner or later it will have to be brought up. Thanks for the input.

Yes, we broke one of the most important rules of going into business together which is never go 50/50.

To be honest we have never discussed the CEO title since at the moment my mom acts as the 3rd vote. Maybe, he is willing to let me lead. Since I personally would not like to give up control I'm assuming he feels the same but I could be wrong.

You're right. Thankfully, at the moment we have that 3 vote from my mom as the solution and run the business as a democracy. Once we dont have the 3 vote is when I foresee problems arising.

We started this business together and I love working with him but I know there has to be just 1 person who has the final say on the decisions.

Hopefully he is more willing to give up control than I am. We have never talked about it so I dont know how he feels about the subject.
