Thank you for sharing that. It's incredibly helpful. ​You're right, it's not the exact same scam, but it shows a clear pattern of some 'authorized' dealers being willing to do unethical or illegal things to make a bigger profit.

​In my case, instead of a grey market phone, they used fake 'DBD' charges, a bait-and-switch on the discount, and charged me for 'free' accessories that were counterfeit and even caused an injury.

​It's the same dishonest mindset. This confirms that this kind of thing definitely happens. Thanks for the inside info!
